From the early days of crafting stories in grammar school to the bustling sets of major networks and corporations, my journey in storytelling and filmmaking has been nothing short of a remarkable adventure. It all began in 2002 with a script that ignited my passion for filmmaking, leading me to the prestigious Academy of Art University in San Francisco. There, I honed my skills in editing and the fundamentals of shooting, gaining invaluable experience working with a San Francisco news station and a local wedding photo and video company. My pursuit of excellence in this field took a new turn when I moved to Las Vegas. Here, I collaborated with various production companies, a phase of immense learning and growth, before taking the bold step to establish my own full-time business. This venture has allowed me to work with an impressive array of clients, both small and large, including notable names like Monster Products, MSNBC, FOX Sports, CNN, Inside Edition, Future Studios, Verizon Wireless, and Hitachi Digital Services. My passion for creating original content led me to embark on a new project, a mini-documentary show titled ‘Evryday People’. This endeavor embodies my commitment to storytelling and my eagerness to explore new horizons. As I look forward to the future, I am excited about the endless possibilities that await and the stories yet to be told.

To help bring awareness to issues, we believe it begins with trust. This begins with our relationship with our subjects. As a team, we are creative storytellers, but we also strive to understand the essence of the story. Everyone on the team needs to be knowledgeable to the subject and able to adapt to situations that occur during documentary work. If we want to create something that can have an impact, our subjects need to have trust in us. They also need to be informed on exactly what and why we are asking them to share their stories. Our expertise is being able to capture the essence of a person. To get these storytellers to share themselves. To share their highs and lows in the utmost detail. To then be able to share that to communities where emotion is at the forefront. Imagery doesn’t need words to tell a story, images should be able to speak for themselves. An image should strike people at their hearts, and then their brains. A story of any magnitude should incite meaningful conversations and have people question their own lives and values. This is what we always aim to do with our projects.

So Cal native, Aaron M Kahn traded places from an actor/model to the alternate side of the lens in 2009 when he began directing and producing for AMK Films. When he entered the world of aerial film and photography, circa 2013, it was a natural progression, combining his interest in aviation with his cinematic profession. Over the last decade, he has collaborated with an eclectic selection of professionals, ranging from independent film makers to internationally renowned production companies and organizations. His current portfolio content is worthy of being celebrated not only as functional video and stills, but also as works of art.
