Derek is a freelance video producer based out of Long Beach, CA. His creative journey began in the US Navy as the command photographer for USS Howard (DDG 83) a guided-missile destroyer. While onboard he engaged in documenting such activities as hunting submarines, foreign government training exercises, and volunteer work in underprivileged communities abroad. Martin Andres Markovits is an award-winning writer, director, producer and multi-media reporter. He worked as a freelance journalist in Latin America for publications such as the San Francisco Chronicle, The New Statesman, Fusion and the Huffington Post. He has produced video features for China Global Television Network and the PBS News Hour and was an international correspondent for CGTN America. He has reported extensively in Venezuela and Mexico covering both the Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro presidencies and also the Mexican drug war. Martin graduated with a master's degree in broadcast journalism from Columbia University. Hi Story Hunters, My name is Matteo Ghidoni, I am a video journalist and video maker based in Los Angeles. I create video news, short documentaries and interviews on a daily basis, for several outlets such as the Italian National TV RAI, the international Chinese tv CGTN, the NY Post and more. In the last seven years, from Los Angeles and the USA, I created videos for Voice of America, Fox, Sky, Yahoo, the Italian biggest press agencies ANSA, Kika Press and more. Before living and working as videomaker between Los Angeles and Milan, I’ve lived and worked in Amsterdam, Rome and for a while in Ghana. Kenneth Eng is a director, editor and executive producer. After graduating from Boston Latin School, Ken left for New York in 1994 to study film at the School of Visual Arts. His thesis Scratching Windows, a short documentary film about graffiti writers, was broadcast as part of the doc series REEL NY on WNET - NY PBS. In 2001, Ken directed and edited Take Me to The River a feature length documentary about the Maha Kumbh Mela festival in Allahabad, India. Kokoyakyu: High School Baseball, his film about the famous Koshien Tournament in Japan was nationally broadcast on PBS as part of POV and continues to play in Japan on NHK-TV. In 2007, Ken was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship to launch My Life In China. Recently, he edited Tested for director Curtis Chin, and is currently developing projects on post-genocide reconciliation in Rwanda and the rise of baseball in China.

Formerly the Multimedia Editor at HuffPost, I moved to Colombia to pursue freelance projects, and I covered social and environmental justice all across the country, for Al Jazeera, Washington Post, Greenpeace, the BBC and more. I was recently awarded an O1 Extraordinary Ability visa to move to the US, and I am now based in LA, where I am working at a documentary production company.
