I am an Ecuadorian filmmaker, grew up in Quito and have always developed a special love towards the history of this city and this country. I studied film and audiovisual studies in Emily Carr University in Vancouver, Canada. My first oficial short-film was released in the year 2014 and since then , I have being working as a Director, director of photography and editor in the Colombian / Ecuadorian region. In 2016 Estudio Trementina was founded, an independent production studio witch I created with 2 colleagues. Estudio Trementina has c=become one symbolic studio in ecuador because of the artistic content we create and because it has focused on cultural videos in its majority. I have produced videos for Art Galleries, Museums, Theatres and music festivals in Quito and Guayaquil. 2020 and 2021 I have worked as cinematographer and editor for a docu-series about the music scene of Ecuador. this last year I participated as cinematographer of an international interview with alJazeera about a Bolivian robot designer who works with recycled material i filmed a interviewsDirected more than 50 music videos and have being director of photography of of more than 20 episodes of different cultural short-documentaries . Bernarda Cornejo, DOP and Fixer. Since 2019, she has worked as a cinematographer for the feature length documentary “among us women I በኛ በሴቶች መካከል” directed by Sarah Noa Bozenhardt and co directed by Daniel Abate Tilahun that tells the story of midwives in rural Ethiopia. It premiered in Dok Leipzig 2021 where it won a mention under the international competition. She has also worked as a DOP for other short films including Medanit (Dok Leipzig 2015) and El Sagrado Fuego de los Muertos (2021). She also worked as the second camera unit for Magical Andes (screened in Netflix). She is living and based in Quito, Ecuador since 2015 and has worked as a Fixer for multiple projects for Tambo films including: Earth Form Space (BBC), Volcano 24 (True to Nature - for BBC2), Terra X-Off the Road (Spiegel TV - for ZDF), The Sound of Tiink (research phases for Ostinanto Cine). She studied Audiovisual Arts at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada. In 2015, he made the stop motion short film Aguacero that premiered at the Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF 2015).

Audiovisual producer, director and editor from Ecuador. Filmmaker by profession, master's degree in Media Studies from The New School, NY. 10 years of experience recording and taking photos. I have directed and produced various videos for the internet and big screens. During the first 5 years of my experience I dedicated myself to recording music videos. Then I dedicated myself more to the production of political and web content. I did a master's degree from 2018 to 2020 in NY. Now I also work with Touche Films, a major production company in the country. Last year I directed a food reality show called "Ahora te toca a ti" and now I am editing the Behind the Scenes (material that I also recorded) for the film Misfit. My undergraduate thesis project was a documentary that is uploaded on my YouTube channel. For many years I did a lot with a small equipment . I think the important thing is the image and the story, not the fancy equipment.But, now I have my own good equipment. I care a lot about image and story, I feel confortable interviewing people . Misha Vallejo was born in 1985 in Riobamba, Ecuador. He is a documentary storyteller whose work focuses in Latin America and Europe. In 2014 he completed his MA in Documentary Photography at the University of the Arts London.   Among other distinctions, he won the 2020 Documentary Production Funds of the Ecuadorian Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Creation for his first documentary feature film. Also, he has won the Goethe Institut and Prince Claus Fund for Cultural and Artistic Response for Environmental Change (Germany & Netherlands, 2018), the Photo Europe Network Prize at the PhotOn Festival in Valencia (Spain, 2018), he was selected for the Docking Station artist-in-residence program in two occasions (Netherlands, 2019 and 2020) and won the Ecuadorian National Arts Prize Mariano Aguilera (2015).   In 2016 he published his first photobook Al Otro Lado (Editora Madalena, Sao Paulo), which was selected among the best author photobooks at the Rencontres de la Photographie festival in 2016 (France), obtained the only honorable mention at the prize Felifa-Fola (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and was selected as the best photography book in Brazil in that same year, among many other international distinctions. In 2018, Spanish publishing house RM released his second photobook Siete punto Ocho, which won an honorable mention at the contest Pictures of The Year Latin America 2019 and was featured at the Athens Photo Fest (Greece, 2019). Recently, the same publishing house released his third book Secret Sarayaku, which is part of a transmedia documentary project that also includes an interactive web platform www.secretsarayaku.net and an exhibition. Among others, his personal work has been shown at the LUMIX Festival of Young Visual Journalism (Hannover, Germany 2020), Bronx Documentary Center (New York, USA, 2018), at the Rencontres de la Photographie festival (Arles, France, 2018), at the Budapest Photo Festival (Hungary, 2019), at the International Photography Festival of Valdivia (Chile, 2019) and in several solo exhibitions throughout Latin America and Europe. His editorial and personal work has been published in such media like The New York Times Lens, VICE, GEO, Marie Claire, Esquire and many others. He has given talks and workshops in photography and audiovisual storytelling in Latin America and Europe, a highlight of which was his participation at the 3rd Latin American Colloquium of Photography in Mexico City, 2018.   Currently he is based in Ecuador and works in film and photography throughout Latin America and Europe.

Karen Toro - Documentary photographer, freelance visual journalist, artist, and educator. From a documentary and experimental practice, her work explores themes related to human rights, social justice, the environment, education, and gender. She has produced photo essays on euthanasia, incarcerated individuals, natural disasters, social protests, sexual violence, torture clinics for LGBTQ+ individuals, women's rights, national elections, and more. She has also documented rural communities opposing mining and oil extraction projects, as well as indigenous peoples fighting to reclaim their ancestral territories after being displaced by political conflicts. Karen is a member of the organizations Women Photograph, Diversify Photo, and the Fluxus Foto collective. She has served as producer for Johanna Alarcón's exhibition and book: "Cimarrona: soy negra porque el sol me miró" (Ecuador). She was also the editor of Daniel Merle's book "Mala memoria: diario de un fotógrafo" (Argentina). Recipient of the Jorge Mantilla Ortega Award in the Photojournalism category in 2020 and a finalist in 2022, she received the National Geographic Society Emergency Fund for Journalists grant in 2020 (Fluxus Foto), was a finalist for the 2019 Brazil Contemporary Art Award, was a fellow of the MUFF Caminos Conjuntos program 2020-2022 at the Center of Photography in Montevideo, Uruguay, and was a beneficiary of the Arts, Culture, and Innovation Promotion Fund in 2021. Karen has undergone HEFAT (Hostile Environment and First Aid Training) training conducted by Thomson Reuters and Key Objectives in Guatemala, 2022. She collaborates with international news agencies such as Thomson Reuters and Bloomberg, as well as with Diario El País, the digital feminist journalism magazine La Periódica, and has worked with foundations and non-governmental organizations such as Amazon Watch, Amazon Frontlines, Alianza Ceibo, UN Women, IOM, UNHCR, United Nations University, Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil, Plan International, GIZ, Conservation International, Teach for All Ecuador, and the Scalabrinian Mission of Ecuador.

Dominique is an ecuadorian cinematographer and holds a BFA degree in Film from the University of Arts of Ecuador. In 2016 she started to work on fiction projects and documentaries as cinematographer, these projects have been screened at top-tier film festivals and film markets around the world: Long-legged Nuria (Honorable Jury Mention 8th Mumbai Shorts International Film Festival) Rosita (Winning Best Short documentary at 9th Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival), Martha con 升 (Jury Honor Mention at La Orquídea International Film Festival) and other short films that have been screened on International Film Festivals around the world as the Vancouver International Film Festival or film markets as the Cannes Shortfilm Corner, build her experience as cinematographer. Dominique is a cinematographer who seeks to build images from other artistic places that are not necessarily the cinema, creating an innovative visual aesthetic, trying to achieve different visual sensations through light, textures, and movement.  
 When Dominique was younger she worked as camera assistant with one of the biggest film equipment rental house in Ecuador, that experience gave her the opportunity of working in some many projects for ecuadorian production companies and international projects and to share film sets with great cinematographers.
