I have been working in film production since 2009, when I was hired as a production assistant by a director specialized in international documentaries. My role shifted with each documentary and production step, ranging from researcher and production assistant to field and line producer as well as editor. I then became self-employed and took on further projects both in the documentary field (fixer, writer/editor, production assistant, casting/location scout) and commercial production (P.A.). I also worked as an editor and producer with National Geographic and the UNESCO.

Matthias Schatz works as a multimedia journalist in Hamburg, Germany. Chiara was born in Italy, where studied languages and got a degree in Communication Sciences at the University of Bologna, with a thesis on the German Ostalgie [nostalgia for the former GDR]. After working at the archive of the agency VU' in Paris, she is now a freelance photographer based in Berlin and Chisinau (Moldova Republic).
