Camilo Hannibal Smith is a filmmaker, journalist and documentary photographer based in Houston, Texas. He's worked as a copy editor at the Los Angeles Times, and later started covering local news and culture for Houston Press, Houston Chronicle and various online publications including Rolling Stone. He's a graduate of Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism's digital media program. He created the documentary film “Raza Rap Project” in the fall of 2018. His past work has involved field producing news videos in New Jersey, New York, Mexico and Venezuela. He got his start behind the camera working on the independent film "Moe". Camilo’s work is focused on storytelling that lies at the intersections of history, identity, culture, and justice. Robin Berghaus has produced and directed more than 100 short documentaries, commercials, educational videos, and the feature documentary, STUMPED. Her projects have garnered multiple awards and honors, and have been exhibited at top international film festivals, the British Film Institute, on PBS, and as part of Alfred P. Sloan Foundation’s Science on Screen series. Robin is a recipient of grants from LEF Foundation, Austin Film Society, Frameline and Women in Film Dallas. She serves as a film envoy for American Film Showcase, a cultural diplomacy program produced by the U.S. Department of State and USC School of Cinematic Arts. Robin regularly serves as a keynote speaker, distinguished lecturer, juror, moderator and panelist for film festivals, universities, high schools and organizations. Robin has an interdisciplinary background in science and film. She holds a BA in biology from Boston College, and a MFA in film production from Boston University.

Ben Wu is a documentary director and cinematographer based in Austin, TX. He is a two time Student Academy Award winner in the documentary category, as well as one of the directors of In Transit, which won the Documentary Feature jury award at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2015. His films have screened across the country and internationally. Ben is co founder of Lost & Found Films, a non-fiction film/video production company. Scott Dalton is a documentary photographer and filmmaker living in Houston, Texas. He was based for 14 years throughout Latin America, mainly in Bogotá, Colombia, where he covered the civil conflict and drug war before returning to his home state of Texas. He now does editorial and corporate assignments while spending his free time working on long-term personal projects. Bex Rodriguez is a filmmaker based in Austin, Texas. As a full-time freelancer since 2013, Bex has worked on countless docs, commercials and music videos. Recently, Bex worked as a DP for Hulu, NPR, AT&T, The Daily Show, and most recently HBO. Bex’s goals are shooting and directing documentaries with a focus on women and minorities. She has traveled to Morocco to DP the disappearing culture of the nomadic people in the Sahara. Bex not only DPs but has recently discovered directing. From Sol to Seoul, a rock climbing doc following a young woman’s journey from her farm in Colorado to the granite mountains of South Korea, is her latest film in post production.

I started off as a part-time PA, mainly working in Computer Graphics / Audio Technician / Camera Operator roles in news production for three daily newscasts for KLDO/KXOF in Laredo, Texas. After a few months, I was promoted to full-time multimedia journalist covering international border issues such as the shooting of a Department of Homeland Security helicopter near the Rio Grande River. Afterwards, I joined the team at KGNS, also from Laredo, Texas, as a multimedia journalist. I was part of a team of reporters and producers that covered the fatal bus accident off US-83 in the Spring of 2016. I'm currently a freelancer in the Austin area.
