I'm an award-winning visual storyteller. I have over a decade of experience documenting stories of vulnerable populations, especially women and refugees from the Middle East and Africa. I am passionate about making sure global game-changers get their stories told. I was a staff photographer with the Associated Press for several years, during which time I documented the 2011 revolutions in Egypt and Libya. I am based in Istanbul, Turkey and work for the NY Times, the Washington Post, Buzzfeed, PepsiCo, the World Bank, UNICEF, the International Rescue Committee, Search for Common Ground, among others. For six years I co-founded and ran an innovative storytelling agency, Vignette. The company created multimedia projects for NGOs and foundations such as UNICEF, Amnesty International, Sesame Street, the Gates Foundation, the World Bank and the International Rescue Committee. In 2016 I received a World Press Photo award for her work in Sierra Leone with the NY Times, and I have received grants from the European Journalism Centre and IWMF to create stories about women's access to abortion worldwide.

Ensar Tekin, born in 1980, Turkey, studied journalism, before turning to a profession in journalism. From 2001-2003 he worked as a Reporter and cameraman assistant in AP (Associated Press) and TRT İstanbul. From 2005 to 2007 he worked as a correspondent and occasionally as a photographer in Bursa,he focused solely on photography and articles, working on Police and courthouse cases. From 2007 to 2009 he worked in IHA Operation News Desk, He traveled to many countries of the world to provide live broadcast&SNG services to different clients (İnternational media and Organizations). November 2008 he was assigned as a correspondent in Israel. Ensar Tekin,then spent couple of months in Palestine territories with the struggling to analyse as a backdrop the situation of that lawless nation and bring together all of his experiences during his numerous trips there. From 2009 to 2012 Ensar Tekin was based in East Africa and produced various photo and video essays including one exploring culture in Ethiopia and another which examined extremist poverty in the country. He then moved to Somalia where he spent time photographing indigenous communities and small groups in the african region, combining photo assignments and video for different clients (Media and International Organizations). Currently he is based in İstanbul, Turkey, combining photo assignments and video for different clients (Media and International Organizations).

Economic Correspondent I made more than 500 interviews and live broadcasts on A Para and A News channels in Turkuvaz Medya, Turkey's largest media group.
