I am a Johannesburg based Filmmaker, Director of Photography (DOP), Multimedia Journalist, Producer and Drone Operator. Over the course of my career I have worked in Europe, the US, the Middle East and Southern Africa with different international organizations including the UN Human Rights Office, Al Jazeera English, Global Citizen, TRT World, Goethe Institut, Vice News on HBO, Bloomberg, Amnesty International, Business Insider and Pacifica Radio. In 2017, together with partner Ntshepeng Motema, I co-founded Seithati Media, an audio-visual storytelling company producing film, video, television, and audio content. We create work that aims to reframe perspectives through delicate storytelling, moving emotions and fresh aesthetics. My standard kit: Two Sony 4K Cinema cameras, the FX6 and FX3, with tripods. I use Sony G Master f/2.8 lenses: 24-70mm &70-200mm. My sound kit includes a Sony UWD-D27 2 person lav mic set & Sennheiser MKE600 shotgun microphone, with Zoom H5 when sound needs to be recorded externally. My lights include Godox FL150 S LED key light along with 2 smaller Godox LEDs. Gimbal: DJI Ronin RS2. Drone: 4K DJI Mini 3 Pro.

Dianne began her career in newspapers at the prestigious Cape Town newspaper The Cape Argus where she reported on high profile high court cases as well as human interest stories. The bright lights of television beckoned and she joined eNCA shortly before the launch of the 24-hour news channel. She returned to newspapers as a senior investigative and legal reporter at The Sunday Independent newspaper in Gauteng. After two years she returned to eNCA this time entering the online department as a senior reporter. She has won a number of awards for her work as a reporter. Dianne has worked as the News Editor of The Times and TimesLIVE. She has been the Head of News at POWER 98.7, a Johannesburg-based radio station and worked as Head of News and Current Affairs at Newzroom Afrika where she helped to set up the 24-hour news channel. She later took up the role of Special Project Editor at the channel. In late 2021, Dianne joined the Timeslive group multimedia team as Editor for Video.

Adam is writing this biography in the third person. :) He started making videos in high school with his friends - directing and producing a TV show at the age of 16. After completing his BA in Philosophy and Literature at the University of Pretoria, he turned his hobby into a profession. He works in three fields: documentary film, content creation and NGO communications. Work has taken him to Malaysia, Australia, Angola, The Seychelles, Madagascar, Patagonia, Chile and Argentina to name a few. His film "Exorcist of Apartheid" won best short documentary at the 2019 Jozi Film Festival. Sifiso is an award winning Producer/Director for Anaphora Films. He has worked as writer and content producer on SABC talk and magazine shows. After studying Film & TV at Monash University, Khanyile directed Spiderman and Romeo, a ground breaking short documentary about the thrills and dangers of train surfing which screened at numerous local and international festivals and shown on BBC, and Sechuan TV (China). Joseph Maramba is a multi-media journalist with over 15 years experience. In his early journalism years he worked as a writer at The Chronicle in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe before moving onto radio at the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Cooperation's Spot FM Radio where he produced and presented various content on Farming, Health and Art. He later moved to a music radio station, ZBC's Power FM in Gweru and hosted a number of artists and authors on his radio shows before moving into Organisational Communications at The Methodist Church in Zimbabwe's Harare office. Ilan Godfrey was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. At nineteen he moved to England to pursue his photographic profession. During this time he gained a BA (Hons) degree in Photography from the University of Westminster in London and was awarded the David Faddy Scholarship to continue his studies, receiving an MA degree in Photojournalism. He spent eleven years working between Johannesburg and London before returning to settle in South Africa in 2011 to focus on several long-term projects. One of which would evolve over two and a half years into the Legacy of the Mine. This resulted in Ilan receiving the prestigious Ernest Cole Award in 2012 to support the completion of this in-depth body of work. Legacy of the Mine was published as his first book in 2013 and was launched in conjunction with solo exhibitions across South Africa at the UCT Erma Stern Museum, Cape Town, KZNSA Gallery (KwaZulu Natal Society of Arts), Durban and the WAM Gallery (Wits Art Museum), Johannesburg. Ilan Godfrey’s current and ongoing personal photographic practice focuses on extensive issues that reflect South Africa’s constantly changing landscape, documenting the country with an in-depth, intimate and personal conscience. By conveying through long-term projects a process of exploratory narration with photography, he reveals varied aspects of societal change across the country. He works with various institutions and organisations worldwide and has been recognised locally and internationally by various photography awards, including most recently the POPCAP ’14 Prize Africa (winner, 2014) resulting in his work will be exhibited at seven major photographic festivals around the world, the Leica Oskar Barnack Award (finalist, 2014), the OPEN Photo Award in conjunction with the Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa (winner, 2012), the International Photography Award (honorable mention, 2009) and the Magenta Flash Forward Award (selected winner 2007 and 2008) among others. He has participated in the Toscana Photographic Masterclass in Italy (2008) and was a recipient of the Ivan Kyncl Memorial Photography Placement in London (2007).
