I am a Johannesburg based Filmmaker, Director of Photography (DOP), Multimedia Journalist, Producer and Drone Operator. Over the course of my career I have worked in Europe, the US, the Middle East and Southern Africa with different international organizations including the UN Human Rights Office, Al Jazeera English, Global Citizen, TRT World, Goethe Institut, Vice News on HBO, Bloomberg, Amnesty International, Business Insider and Pacifica Radio. In 2017, together with partner Ntshepeng Motema, I co-founded Seithati Media, an audio-visual storytelling company producing film, video, television, and audio content. We create work that aims to reframe perspectives through delicate storytelling, moving emotions and fresh aesthetics. My standard kit: Two Sony 4K Cinema cameras, the FX6 and FX3, with tripods. I use Sony G Master f/2.8 lenses: 24-70mm &70-200mm. My sound kit includes a Sony UWD-D27 2 person lav mic set & Sennheiser MKE600 shotgun microphone, with Zoom H5 when sound needs to be recorded externally.
