Dania Bdeir is a Lebanese writer/director of Syrian origins. She was born in Canada, where her parents fled to escape the Lebanese civil war, and then moved back to Beirut where she got her Bacherlor's degree in graphic design at the American University of Beirut. Dania is getting her MFA in film at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Her short film Kaleidoscope, shot in Beirut has traveled to numerous film festivals around the world. She is currently living in between Lebanon and New York while she writes her first feature film which she plans to shoot in both Beirut and New York as her thesis film. Dania has always had a passion for Lebanon and sharing the untold stories of the Middle East. Jude Chehab is a Lebanese-American filmmaker based between New York and Beirut. Her cinematic interests have drawn Jude to the exploration of the esoteric, the spiritual and the unspoken. I trained as a press photographer in the UK and cut my teeth working for national publications before moving to Iraqi Kurdistan In 2013. I became picture editor and trainer at Metrography, Iraq's first photo agency, where I mentored photographers and worked to raise the profile of Iraqi photojournalism on the international stage. After leaving Metrography, I covered the rise and fall of the Islamic State in Iraq and the changing fortunes of Iraqi Kurdistan and worked across the Middle East and further afield. Born in Lebanon, Cynthia Choucair graduated from ALBA in 1998 and obtained a master degree in Film Directing from Iesav-USJ in 2002. She directed 9 fiction and documentary films of different lengths.  Her short film The Chair was selected in more than 35 festivals worldwide and won several prizes.  In 2007, she established her production house, Road2films, producing documentaries, fiction films and cultural TV programs. She produced and co-produced documentaries that competed in prestigious international film festivals like the International Film Festival of Rotterdam, Sheffield DocFest, RIDM, FidMarseille and many others.
