RUBEN RODAS is a bi-coastal (NY-LA) Independent Filmmaker. His professional background includes extended experience as Director and Cinematographer of Narrative Films, Commercials , Music Videos , TV shows, Branded Content, and Documentaries. Born in Asuncion, Paraguay. In the year 2001 he was recognized for his award winning short film “Paper Airplanes.” Consequently, he was hired as Director and producer for TV shows and promos at the Telefuturo network; Ruben is also the recipient of various awards including best TV show of the year for “Menchi” in 2001. In 2003 he joined producer Joel Cabrera and created the TV production company “FOQUS DIGITAL” where he directed several commercials and documentaries for some of leading national networks. In 2004 he came on board as one of the producers for two nationally televised sitcom series developed for the Telefuturo network: “GvsB” and “Animo Juan.” In 2005 he joined the crew of the feature film “Miami Vice,” as Location Manager for the South American team division. There, he worked closely in the location scouting with director “Michael Mann” and cinematographer "Dion Bebe". That same year Ruben attended the New York Film Academy. As cinematographer he had attended/learned on master classes from "Caleb Deschannel", "Shane Hurlbut", and ”Sean Bobbitt”. Ruben has extended experience and the ability to shoot in any Film (Arriflex, Panavision) and/or Digital formats including ARRI ALEXA XT, Amira, Alexa Mini and LF, RED Epic/Dragon/Weapon, Sony F3/F5/F7, F55/F65, Phantom, BlackMagic Cinema series, Canon and the latest DSLR cameras. Over the past 20 years, my leadership as a creative director with expertise in motion graphics and production has guided companies from start-up to prominent positions in the industries of film and broadcast television, life sciences, and health and wellness. After working with well known companies such as Viacom and ABC as well as producing several personal projects, I founded Lost Dreams Studios, LLC in 1997. Lost Dreams built an exceptional reputation in both broadcast and life sciences, delivering award-winning work for interactive, video, and live event work. After athletically peaking in high school and tearing some ligaments along the way, Chris (aka Doza) discovered a passion for photography and motion. He has now shot stills and video content, often simultaneously, for some of the most recognizable brands and publications in the world utilizing his signature production style of truthful, intimate, documentary story telling. When he's not running around photographing and filming athletes such as Olympic Gold Medalist Aly Raisman or NFL Superstar JJ Watt, he travels to countries like Rwanda to document how sports are improving lives in developing communities. Chris' work documenting the rise of basketball in Rwanda for NGO, Shooting Touch, has been recognized by the United Nations Office on Sport for Development and Peace and his photos have been published within hall of fame sports writer Jackie MacMullan's essay titled "Using Basketball to Break the Cycle of Poverty and Disease in Rwanda" for ESPN.

Shelby is a freelance photographer, videographer, and photo editor based in San Francisco. I am a woman, Brazilian and mother of two beautiful women. It was while contemplating the mountains in Utah (USA), as an exchange student, that I discovered photography. Graduated in Social Sciences, I carry with me an interest in the human complexity that is expressed in my way of seeing, within photography. My main performance for almost 16 years. I have already contributed to the main design magazines in the country. I travelled through the Brazilian hinterland, mapping and recording popular art @projetosertoes. Brooke Saias (she/her) is an independent filmmaker, producer, and director based in New England. She collaborates with various organizations, institutions, production companies, and artists. She is also an Associate Producer with Arch+Bow Films supporting independent films with bold artistic vision. Recent credits include the feature documentary RICHLAND (Tribeca, 2023). In her independent film practice she explores issues of memory, identity, and diaspora. Her documentary short, Songs of the Sephardim in Izmir about the preservation of the Ladino language, premiered at the Boston Jewish Film Festival in November 2022 and is currently screening in festivals. She was recently awarded a 2023 Arts & Culture Community Impact Grant for her film in development exploring more of the Sephardic Jewish experience. She previously produced a collection of international documentary films for Compass Light Productions and worked as an award-winning video journalist for Education Week. Brooke is dedicated to making the documentary space more equitable and accessible. She was part of a team that helped establish The Video Consortium's first mentorship program sponsored by Sony. She has a graduate certificate in Documentary Studies from The Salt Institute and received a B.A. in Gender & Women’s Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Nicole Teeny is an award-winning documentary filmmaker. Nicole started NYU film school having never seen an R rated movie and only 1.5 PG-13 films (she grew up a community that censored media). While in undergrad, for her first feature documentary, Nicole turned the camera on her own community for BIBLE QUIZ, a coming-of-age doc about the evangelical sport of Bible memory. BIBLE QUIZ won the Slamdance Grand Jury Award (and 9 other Grand Jury festival awards), played on Netflix, theatrically in seven cities at Alamo Drafthouse movie theaters, on Kanopy, on the Sundance Channel Global in 20+ countries, and was selected for the US State Department’s “American Film Showcase”. Hollywood Reporter called it "instantly lovable" and the LA Times said it was “Smart, funny, and disarming”. Nicole followed that beat and is in post-production on her second feature documentary, BULLETPROOF STOCKINGS, about the first all-female Hasidic rock band. It won the Doc-a-chusetts Pitch, LEF Moving Image grant and Cambridge art grants, and was a finalist at Fork Films and Chicken & Egg. Nicole also makes documentary shorts and series. THE WRITER exhibited at 2015 Viennale and over 50 international galleries and museums as a part of Harun’s Farocki’s “Labour in A Single Shot”. Her branded docu-series COMMUNAL FUTURES about collectives with The Collective featured a queer mosque, a makerspace, and an ecovillage. Nicole has also worked with The HuffPost (formerly The Huffington Post) and Bloomberg News Video. Her narrative film script PUBLIC POOL was selected for the Berlin Film Festival Short Film Station and also won 5 film festival screenplay awards including Best of at the Pheonix Film Festival & Sacramento Film Festival. She's been an artist in residence at Virginia Creative Center for the Arts, Brush Creek Arts Foundation, Arts Kibbutz, and collaborated with the MIT Media Lab. I started working as a commercial photographer in Dallas, TX as part of a large agency studio gaining experience in studio product to location fashion and everything in between. I was then hired by LL Bean and relocated to Portland, ME to start their first in-house photo studio. Over the course of 9 years working as their lead photographer and studio manager I shot every aspect of photography for the catalog and digital, as well as designed and ran their 16,000 sqft production studio. I then left to go freelance and now work with a variety of clients from publishers to local product makers to national creative agencies. Shooting product, lifestyle/editorial, food, and documentary assignments. I also developed my own 8,000 sqft production studio which I have at my disposal and can house nearly every type of client need.

I have directed 34 documentaries worldwide in 90 countries, including Ukraine, Afghanistan, Mauritania, Turkey, Asia, Latin America. I also make television pieces broadcast on CNN, the BBC and France 24, as well as corporate videos for the United Nations, UNICEF, UNDP and other NGOs. In addition to directing, I am a skilled DP and Apple certified pro editor. I can travel worldwide on short notice and edit via remote with fiber optics internet.
