Ayya Harraz is an independent British video journalist and documentary filmmaker. Previously in Cairo, Tunis and Beirut, Ayya is currently based in Istanbul. Harraz has covered the ouster of former president Mohammed Morsi and the government's crackdown on protesters in Cairo in August 2013. She was also responsible for managing two teams in the coverage of the presidential election. Her first exclusive as a broadcast journalist was reporting on the siege of Al-Fath mosque in Cairo. In Libya, she travelled to Sirte as the Libya Dawn brigade began their preparations to launch an attack on IS operations. Prior to that, in South Sudan, Harraz was reporting from the rebel-held town of Motot, in Jonglei state, as tens of thousands of IDP’s fled during the civil war. In 2014, Harraz covered both the parliamentary and presidential elections in Tunisia as well as later in 2015 the Bardo Museum attack.

Danny Copeland is a freelance, self-shooting Producer-Director and multi-media specialist focused on creating impactful films and creating strategic digital content that revolves around science and the natural world - particularly our oceans. Danny has been working at the intersection of conservation, underwater media, and documentary for the last 10 years. For several years he worked at the Manta Trust - a non-profit focused on the conservation of manta rays, where he produced, shot and edited multimedia campaigns and content to help fundraise and deliver policy wins. As a freelancer, he regularly works with other marine conservation and research institutions, including the Blue Marine Foundation, to capture evergreen media assets for use across their slate of projects. In the mainstream media world, Danny worked as a Field Producer and timelapse camera operator on the Netflix feature documentary, Chasing Coral. Between 2019 - 2023, he spent 3 years working as an Assistant Producer-Director at the BBC Natural History Unit, including on the Coast and Oceans episodes of an Attenborough-led blue chip natural history series called Prehistoric Planet. He has worked alongside world-leading shark scientists, assisted National Geographic photographers on assignment, and spent a year sponsored as the European Rolex Scholar in 2015. Currently Danny focuses on juggling commercial and client work related to the underwater world and social justice / issues, alongside spearheading his own passion projects - all with the ultimate goal of utilising multi-media and storytelling to drive tangible conservation action for the benefit of our oceans and wider planet. I am an international news journalist working for leading networks - including the BBC and Al Jazeera - in Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia for over a decade. I was part of the award-winning team covering the Arab Spring. During my career at the BBC, I was a TV producer for BBC Breakfast, a newsreader for Europe's most-listened to radio station BBC Radio 2. I was also a reporter for the popular youth station BBC Radio 1, and a writer for the award-winning Radio 4 1800 news bulletin. I have worked as a director for a TV documentary in New Zealand. Currently working as a freelance reporter and videomaker/photographer, I can also create content for social media, engage communities and source information in what is called 'crowdsourced journalism'. Before approaching journalism I worked in sport events and film production, both complex and fast paced international environments where I acquired strong organisational and stakeholders' management skills, as well as good data and database management.
