Ben Addelman is the director of four award winning feature documentaries. His first two films Discordia (2004) and Bombay Calling (2006) were both produced by the National Film Board of Canada and screened at dozens of festivals around the world. Bombay Calling was nominated for the 2007 Gemini Award for Best Social Political Documentary and premiered at Hot Docs. His third film Nollywood Babylon (2008), a feature documentary about Nigeria’s film industry, produced by his company AM Pictures and co-produced with the NFB, screened at Sundance Film Festival 2009 as part of the world documentary competition and continued on to other major film festivals around the world.
