I'm a film/TV content creator, director and producer. I live in Nairobi, Kenya and have made films both for TV and cinema for over a decade. I directed the award-winning disability-awareness film "Lisilojulikana" which has been screened across Kenya and has impacted communities by starting much needed conversations and fresh perspectives. After leaving his beloved Costa Rica, he created CNN's Adventure Report, covering over one hundred social impact stories in over 30 countries. Frustrated with prohibitive corporate policies, he left CNN to launch an independent project: Subite al Chunche ("Hop on the 'Chunche'", the name of his car) which documented the journey of driving from Costa Rica to the 2014 Brazil World Cup. The 13-episode multimedia series won several awards, including best audiovisual production of the year in its category. He is also the founder of the DO Lectures Costa Rica, named amongst the "top-10 ideas festivals"​ by The Guardian. I am a filmmaker and ethnographer of both documentary and short promotional films. Primarily a self-shooter and editor but looking to grow experience in research and camera operation. The programs focus on issues around immigration, fixed address, mental health, focusing on the issue of psychosis tuberculosis and breast cancer. Directed 6 TV programs for the Somali economy (Agriculture, livestock, fishier and honey production) developed a series of episodes of educative, interactive and entertaining for the Somali Community mainly in the rural communities Somaliland.
