As a passionate photographer & videographer, I´m not only working for companies or private clients - I also try to capture moments of life in my leisure time. Eric Madeja is a Swiss service production and location manager and photographer based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysian-Borneo for almost 20 years. During that time he and his team have been working with international film & TV crews, journalists, environmental NGO’s and corporate clients in Borneo and throughout the Coral Triangle. His own company is licensed by the Malaysian authorities and he offers full fixer packages, including permits and crew visa. Aizzat Nordin (b.1991) is a visual producer and independent documentary photographer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with a decade of experience in capturing the essence of humanity through my lens. His transition from the outskirts to the city has shaped his unique perspective, driving him to tell the stories of local culture, human capital, migration issues, and labour-related topics. In 2019, he joined the Ministry of Youth and Sport as a Visual Director which started his journey in politics. I am an independant filmmaker, freelance journalist and producer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I have worked with Al-Jazeera, BBC, Central China TV, ARD, ZDF, DW - German TV, Swiss National TV and Channel News Asia Singapore. I started as a print journalist for Malaysian newspapers, and later acquired radio reporting skills to become the Malaysian correspondent for Asia Calling (Jakarta 68H). From 2006 to 2009, I worked fulltime for Al-Jazeera English, starting as a Researcher, then a Producer for Programmes. From 2010 onwards, I freelanced for international broadcasters, fixing and producing short news packages while I independently directed and produced half hour documentaries. I have a degree in Film and Animation, mostly focusing on 3D animation, but my love for stories and human interest over time overcame the flash of 3D animation. So I decided to pick up a camera and never looked back. I focused more on independent cinema where I learnt the best lessons on how to make the most of the least with independent cinema's budget being almost nothing.
