I am a midlife adventurer and writer. I am an avid scuba diver, underwater photographer, citizen scientist, amateur historian; interested in all people and cultures. For me, the unexpected is usually the norm! I take part in Citizen Science and have done several trips to ID whale sharks, manta rays, and other pelagics. I love to write about these experiences, and to review companies engaged in travel or volunteer tourism. Hotels, dive companies, airlines, restaurants...I enjoy all manner of travel related reviews and stories. I'm always up for a new challenge! Sanya Mansoor is currently an education reporting intern at The Dallas Morning News. She recently co-directed a documentary on youth and politics in her hometown, Kashmir, India that was published on The Atlantic. Sanya has lived in India, England, Singapore and Chicago and has written more than 100 stories for a diverse array of outlets including The Times, a national daily newspaper in South Africa, and The Christian Science Monitor in Boston.
