Miguel Ángel Sánchez holds a film degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where he specialized in Direction and Production. He has been selected to Berlinale Talents 2022. He produced the feature film "The dove and the wolf" which premiered and was awarded at the Locarno Film Festival. As an activist, he was a member of the Autonumus Audiovisual Front, a group of film students working with audio-visual media who have had a significant impact on the student movement in Mexico. He directed the #DignaDigna transmedia project on Digna Ochoa's iconic case. He also directed the documentary series Turtle World on the six marine turtle species that arrive in Mexico and are critically endangered.
