Documentaries are my passion. My feature-length films HIT and LA FLOR DE LA VIDA —a Sundance Institute grantee— premiered in festivals including IDFA, True/False, Docs Barcelona and BAFICI. Aside from film, I've worked as a journalist for several media outlets, including Television Nacional Uruguay and AFP. I contribute regularly with Univision as a film editor, where my credits include RISING UP IN THE HEARTLAND, nominated for a News & Documentary Emmy, winner of an Online Journalism Award, and First Place Winner - Documentary at Picture of the Year International. As a content producer, I have directed and edited dozens of pieces on development issues, climate change, migration and gender for multilateral organizations including UNICEF, UNESCO, the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank. I have an M.A. in Journalism and Latin American Studies from New York University, through a Fulbright Scholarship.

I'm an experienced video editor/motion graphic artist and project manager. I got my bachelor degree in media communication and completed my MA degree at Media City UK (Salford Univ) in Post Production for TV and Film. I've worked on several companies throughout these years such as BBC (internship) and Applearn.tv and produced content for several brands around the globe. I'm fully trained in the Adobe Package suite (Premiere, AE, Photoshop, AI) as well as FCP, Da Vinci Resolve, Camtasia and have plenty of experience as a camera operator. I also have 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager working both in Marketing Agencies and Media Production companies which has given me an understanding of the complete process, from start to finish. Some of my works have reached international audiences from more than 50 countries, including: Uruguay, France, Germany, USA, Russia and China. Some of my films have been awarded at film festivals. I hold a B.Sc. in Zoology and a degree in filmmaking from the Uruguay Film School.
