I am an award-winning, multi-faceted filmmaker based in Los Angeles. Over the past 20 years I have traveled from the remotest beaches of Indonesia and the Solomon Islands to the bustling red carpets of Hollywood, serving as Director, Producer, Cameraman, Editor, and Writer on a diverse series of documentaries and films. I am currently in production on a blue-chip film (as Writer/Director), The Hudson River: Journey Into The Wild, written and developed for Skyland Productions / RanFilms, (Austria), and co-funded by Smithsonian Channel and ARTE. When I was a toddler my parents couldn't find me a babysitter, so they did what any responsible guardians would've done... they brought me to my first Saturday matinee... Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. That first encounter with movie magic exploded into a lifelong passion that had taken me from acting to art direction to producing. I even gave music a shot as a singer-songwriter. But that hectic vagabond existence became hard to sustain. I needed to refine my focus. After soul searching and strategizing my next step in a new direction, I came to the conclusion that I didn't want to work on one element of filmmaking. I wanted to work on them all, but that didn't seem possible... until I discovered the joy of editing. Since that time, I've earned my B.F.A. at the Academy of Art University where I majored in editing, while simultaneously starting ScreenDrifter Productions -- my freelance post production company. ​ Being an editor has been the most rewarding avenue I've walked down in my creative journey and I'm excited for whatever future collaborations are on the horizon.

Pat Shahabian is a Director of Photography and Camera Operator working locally in Los Angeles and New York specializing in documentary films. Alexandra is a Chinese-American director-producer, born and raised in Orange County, CA. For her Bachelor of Arts degree, she attended Scripps College, double majoring in Media Studies and Asian Studies. In college, she was first interested in documentary filmmaking. She gained experience working on documentaries – the Official Beijing Olympics Film called "The Everlasting Flame," Brett Morgen’s "Crossfire Hurricane," John Rowe’s "Omo Child: The River and the Bush," and ping-pong documentary, "Top Spin." However, her first internship was with Spyglass Entertainment. One of her most rewarding experiences was working with Ellen Sandler, writer and EP on Everybody Loves Raymond, on Ms. Sandler’s directorial debut in the web series, “Marisa Rules.” Alexandra was the 2nd AD and Casting Associate on the production. After attending NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Asia in Singapore for her Masters of Fine Arts degree, she realized her strengths and focused on being a director and producer. Alexandra has directed five short films in Singapore, Hong Kong, France, Orange County, CA, and Long Island, NY respectively. Her short film, “Sophie,” has done very well in festivals. It has screened at over fifteen film festivals around the world, including Oscar-qualifying film festivals, Austin Film Festival (World Premiere) and Foyle Film Festival (International Premiere). Samantha André is an independent director, cinematographer, and editor with a special focus on women’s rights and social issues around the world. She has directed, produced, or edited projects for VICE, TWITTER, APPLE TV, PBS, RAPHA and THE FRONT. Her work has led her to cover character driven stories such as the LGBT refugees in Europe, police brutalities for the ACLU, climate change in an indigenous Alaskan village, child marriage in Kenya, disability activism in the US, and women's health in professional sports. She is currently working on finishing her first feature documentary, Mary’s Way. Filmed over the course of five years, it is the portrait of one girl’s journey to help bring an end to female genital mutilation and child marriage in her Kenyan community. A short version of her film was screened in New York to raise awareness for FGM in partnership with the United Nations. Luisa Conlon is a documentary director and cinematographer based in New York and Los Angeles. She most recently directed the New York Times Op-Docs We Became Fragments about a young Syrian refugee coming of age in Canada. I started in Chile shooting commercial spots and documentaries in film. We recorded over 2,500 stories, with different lighting conditions, where my expertise as lighting director came in very handy.
