Dhawalika moved to Mumbai in 2012, after studying filmmaking from A.J. Kidwai Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi. She has shot many long format fiction and documentary projects since. She also likes to dabble in still photography as a medium of more personalised storytelling.
