Steven St. John (b. 1977) is an editorial and commercial photographer specializing in portrait and documentary photography. Fueled by the light, lonely landscapes, and diverse people of his home state of New Mexico, St. John loves to explore the world from his base in Albuquerque. Steven began his career as a staff photographer at The Albuquerque Tribune until it ceased publication in 2008. Mi nombre es Leonardo, estudié cinematografía en el Instituto Superior de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales (ISCAA) de Santa Fe, Argentina. He realizado varios cortometrajes y mediometrajes de ficción y documental. También he sido director de El peso, largometraje de ficción, y asistente de dirección en la última película de Fernando Birri, (Padre del cine Latinoamericano, fundador de la primera escuela de cine documental de américa latina). Éstas experiencias me han llevado a inmiscuirme cada vez más en el ambiente del cine y la tv, haciendo de ello mi profesión. Actualmente estoy con la elaboración de 2 proyectos de largometrajes de ficción, y series de tv documental. Mi impronta narrativa es abordar la realidad con los menores filtros posibles, involucrarme en temáticas políticas y sociales, utilizando la poesía como principal factor argumentativo. La propuesta estética la utilizo de manera tal que el espectador se involucre en la obra siendo partícipe de la misma, y no cayendo en una puesta enajenadora.
