Shawn Baldwin is a documentary filmmaker, photographer and multimedia journalist based in Berkeley, California. His work is published in The New York Times, Stern, Newsweek, Time Magazine, Vanity Fair, Bloomberg Businessweek and The New York Times Magazine. Shawn lived in the Middle East for more than a decade covering war in Iraq, revolutions in Egypt and Libya, and the growing influence of hardline Islam across the Arab world. He has worked throughout the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe on stories. Oluwaseun Babalola is a Sierra Leonean/Nigerian-American director, shooter, and producer. She began her career as video editor in digital content with brands such as Yahoo!, Macy’s, and Conde Nast, and later ventured into film production as Director of Photography and Co-Producer on the successful indie documentary, “Trichster.” Post “Trichster,” Oluwaseun has produced projects with her production company in Haiti, Botswana, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and more.
