Genéa Gaudet is an award-winning documentary and music video director, editor, and camera woman. Working in both Los Angeles and Joshua Tree, CA, Genéa (pronounced Jenaya) explores gender, memory, relationships, and sexuality in her work. Recently she’s been working on 16mm and 8mm film and experimenting with analog video formats. She is a featured director on Free the Bid and Boyish. Currently Genéa is in post-production on a film called 5 Days – an intimate portrait of a man who faces a five-day trial and 30 years in prison for child molestation. Her latest TV series will see a 2021 release on FX network: A doc series called PRIDE about the rise of the LGBTQ++ movement. Her first short documentary, Elder, recalls the experience of a Mormon man who became a missionary in Italy during the 70s and fell in love with a Communist man. It premiered at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival and was a selection for the Emmy award-winning New York Times Op-Docs series. It won a jury prize for Best Short Documentary at the Napa Valley Film Festival. Her second film, Second to None, is a branded-content short about Isabella and Margaux Isaksen – two sisters vying for an Olympic slot on the U.S. Pentathlon Team. It was featured on ESPN in 2016. Genéa’s music video Game to Lose for indie-folk supergroup I’m With Her is featured on Rolling Stone, and aggregating on Variety, The Guardian, JamBase and Daily Motion. I'm Rachel and I'm obsessed with the creative process behind conveying a story visually. I graduated SF State for photojournalism, won a Hearst Certificate of Merit for a video I shot and edited in Istanbul (where I befriended a home-grown "terrorist" group and many other exciting things), worked at two jobs while shooting video/photo projects for my hometown newspaper until I got the job I have now for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. I love this job because it throws me into situations I would not normally be in. The second video I ever shot was about abalone diving(never dived before) and I'm working on a mini-doc about a driving crew that drifts illegally, shutting down freeways to follow something they believe is their right in life. I'm easily enamored by my subjects. Good stories seriously make my life worth living. I can't imagine doing anything else.

I started as a still photographer but gradually drifted to video, producing and editing. Using the same skills, I've found a love of telling stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. For the past 10 years I've worked as a camera operator, editor and director. I have worked in broadcast news for 7 years in the Las Vegas area. While out here I created a digital documentary series on the high school basketball powerhouse Findlay Prep. My series helped make the small team based out of Henderson, NV into a global destination for some of the top basketball athletes in the world. Our series documented the early careers of NBA Champion Cory Joseph, Cleveland Cavalier Tristan Thompson and Boston Celtic Avery Bradley. After basketball, music is another love. I helped created the music documentary series Suite Sessions (www.suitesessions.com). Our music series went behind the scenes with artists while they toured Las Vegas.

Hello, My name is Bernard, I am a French American and a filmmaker for over 35+ years. As a cameraman and DP I grew up during the “Old-School” era of classic filmmaking I have been influenced by the work and by the philosophy of great cinematographers of the Nouvelle Vague period in France. My most prominent inspiration is Nestor Almandros who created cinema Vérité in Cuba (Oscar winner for Kramer vs Kramer and The Blue Lagoon). My brother, Gérard Blain, was an renown actor in France during this period. (Le Beau Serge /Jean-Claude Chabrol, in the US for his part in Hatari /John Wayne) The Nouvelle Vague took the camera out of the studios and with very little money they created master pieces, and a whole new direction and approach to filmmaking. That is not to say I am not acquainted with more modern takes of filmmaking. I am also heavily inspired by the early MTV's style of camerawork. The freedom; breaking the rules with lighter cameras and the preference for videos over films, a new style was created. I am from both of those worlds. And for me, the simple rule is to keep the viewers undisturbed from technical effects, if in fact they are needed at all to begin with. Over the 35 years of filming and documenting wood sculptors, I have mastered ways of filming and producing that makes you feel closer to the art piece. As a producer, I was looking for the creative process; the soul behind the art. I love doing interviews, I am used to go on the road and sometimes do the interviews myself, the camera, set-up, audio... everything! A one man show! (Beyond Wood series) In 1998, I was already encoding videos with “Real Player”. Today I create posts on Facebook, YouTube and other social media outlets. Originally a Gaffer from Detroit, Kurt moved west in 1996 to start working as a Director of Photography. Since then, he’s worked for Showtime Networks, Cirque du Soleil, Nevada Power, Southern Nevada Water Authority, MoveOn.org and many other political campaigns, Penn & Teller’s “Bullshit” and a host of casinos across the nation. He’s a man with a deceptively laid-back vibe, because as cool as he seems on the outside, there’s a lot going on inside. You’ll notice he’s both an artist and a gearhead. On every project, he’ll be working all the angles in his mind, whether technical or tonal. Recently, Kurt Dp'ed on the Dark Horse Indies feature “My Name Is Bruce” starring "Evil Dead" star Bruce Campbell & Ted Raimi. He’ll also shoot its sequel, “Bruce vs. Frankenstein.” Kurt lives in Las Vegas with his wife, Nancy and Skye the Wonder Dog.
