I am an Oakland-based shooter/editor. Before moving to video in the mid-00's, I worked as a photo assistant and photographer for advertising and editorial where honed my lighting skills and technical camera knowledge. I have worked on projects ranging from independent feature films to short documentary series to corporate explainers. I was born in Singapore, transported to the Mid-Atlantic and grew up Chinese Minnesotan. Moved to the Bay Area as a lot of folks were heading the other direction. JoeBill Muñoz is a Mexican-American director and producer. He’s currently working on a scripted series with Left/Right Media in collaboration with The New York Times, and directing and producing an independent feature documentary about solitary confinement in California prisons. He's previously worked on a feature documentary with director Gabriela Cowperthwaite in collaboration with Reveal at the Center for Investigative Reporting, and an Emmy-award winning Frontline investigation, KIDS CAUGHT IN THE CRACKDOWN, about the for-profit mass detention of migrant children in the US. Kyle Maack is a video producer at Engadget and all-around maker of images. He graduated from Temple University’s Film and Media Arts program in Philadelphia, and co-founded the artist collective Girard Hall in 2011, which continues to thrive as an institution in the local arts and music scene. Upon graduation, he ventured to Los Angeles to work under veteran documentary filmmakers Keith Fulton and Lou Pepe until he was lured away by the rolling rolling hills of San Francisco. Marlo McKenzie is a producer, writer, and storyteller working across documentary film, interactive apps and radio. She's originally from Metro Detroit. Since making San Francisco her home, she’s worked on several compelling media projects. Most recently she collaborated with the Oscar-nominated, Emmy-winning team at Concentric Media to co-produce and edit a documentary about a community of activists, in Pacific Grove, California, who take dramatic action to save their famous Monarch Grove Sanctuary.
