In 2017 I won the international journalism prize, Rey de España in the category of Environmental Journalism and Sustainable Development with the documentary Lead, Invisible Poison. In the same year, I obtained the journalism prize, Álvaro Gómez Hurtado for the report, The Girls from the Bronx Speak. In 2015 I received the National Prize of Journalism CPB for the best work for television with the report, Meciendo mi Cuna. I'm currently a Rosalynn Carter Fellow for Mental Health Journalism.
