I have worked in television and digital media since 2009, including producing and anchoring a primetime television show which aired internationally for three years, twice a week, totaling 331 episodes, 7,944 minutes of programming, and 1,410 interviews. I worked on each episode from start to finish while functioning in various roles, including conceptualization, writing, planning, translation, videography, editing, interviewing, pre- and post-production, and leading teams. Fernando Pizarro is an experienced Washington political reporter. A multiple Emmy Award-winner and nominee, he has covered Capitol Hill, the White House and the federal government for 17 years. Since 2000 he has covered national and mid-term election cycles, including eight national party conventions, multiple debates and primaries, and interviewed presidential candidates and foreign heads of state. Additionally, he is an adjunct professor of journalism at the School of Communications at American University. In 2014 The Huffington Post listed him as one of the top 40 Latinos in American media. The League of United Latin American Citizens honored him with the 2016 Media Trailblazer Award. He was a 2006 Border Justice Fellow at the USC Annenberg Institute for Justice and Journalism and won awards from the Florida Bar for overall immigration coverage, and the Iowa Newspaper Association for editorial writing. His Washington experience includes working as a national correspondent for Univision, a freelance correspondent for CNN en Español, producer for Associated Press Television and a U.S. correspondent for National Television of Chile. Previously, he was a sports anchor at ESPN International, NBC Latin America, Telefutura and Pan American Sports Network.

I am a Bulgaria-born, Chicago-bred, Brooklyn-based photojournalist, editor and writer, driven by a passion for creative visuals, science, technology, climate change, the economic and political state of the world, art, architecture, anthropology, the beauty of the written word, and the true sense of equality. Nicole Teeny is an award-winning documentary filmmaker. Nicole started NYU film school having never seen an R rated movie and only 1.5 PG-13 films (she grew up a community that censored media). While in undergrad, for her first feature documentary, Nicole turned the camera on her own community for BIBLE QUIZ, a coming-of-age doc about the evangelical sport of Bible memory. BIBLE QUIZ won the Slamdance Grand Jury Award (and 9 other Grand Jury festival awards), played on Netflix, theatrically in seven cities at Alamo Drafthouse movie theaters, on Kanopy, on the Sundance Channel Global in 20+ countries, and was selected for the US State Department’s “American Film Showcase”. Hollywood Reporter called it "instantly lovable" and the LA Times said it was “Smart, funny, and disarming”. Nicole followed that beat and is in post-production on her second feature documentary, BULLETPROOF STOCKINGS, about the first all-female Hasidic rock band. It won the Doc-a-chusetts Pitch, LEF Moving Image grant and Cambridge art grants, and was a finalist at Fork Films and Chicken & Egg. Nicole also makes documentary shorts and series. THE WRITER exhibited at 2015 Viennale and over 50 international galleries and museums as a part of Harun’s Farocki’s “Labour in A Single Shot”. Her branded docu-series COMMUNAL FUTURES about collectives with The Collective featured a queer mosque, a makerspace, and an ecovillage. Nicole has also worked with The HuffPost (formerly The Huffington Post) and Bloomberg News Video. Her narrative film script PUBLIC POOL was selected for the Berlin Film Festival Short Film Station and also won 5 film festival screenplay awards including Best of at the Pheonix Film Festival & Sacramento Film Festival. She's been an artist in residence at Virginia Creative Center for the Arts, Brush Creek Arts Foundation, Arts Kibbutz, and collaborated with the MIT Media Lab. She's a member of Film Fatales, and Diverse Filmmakers Alliance.
