Over the past 20 years, my leadership as a creative director with expertise in motion graphics and production has guided companies from start-up to prominent positions in the industries of film and broadcast television, life sciences, and health and wellness. After working with well known companies such as Viacom and ABC as well as producing several personal projects, I founded Lost Dreams Studios, LLC in 1997. I am an Italy-born freelance multimedia journalist based in Brooklyn, NY. I've covered various national stories for Fusion TV and the Juvenile Justice Information Exchange, shooting and editing video news stories and short documentaries. I covered the Dakota Access Pipeline controversy in 2016, self-producing an award winning 16-minute documentary. I covered the construction of the southern leg of the same pipeline in the swamps of Louisiana, shooting and editing a short documentary for Fusion TV. I spent my childhood building robots and playing bike tag in the streets of Brooklyn, New York. I went on to study Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University where my senior thesis, “Camera Stabilization with a Stewart Platform”, won the Enoch J. Durbin Prize in engineering innovation. After graduating from college, I moved back home to Brooklyn to pursue my passion for filmmaking. Crystal Kayiza grew-up in Oklahoma and is now a Brooklyn-based documentary filmmaker and 2018 Sundance Ignite Fellow. Her work focuses on pursuing more nuanced and diverse storytelling about Black communities. She is a recipient of the 2017 Jacob Burns Film Center Woman Filmmaker Fellowship. As a Woman Filmmaker Fellow she directed and produced, Edgecombe, a short documentary examining the ways trauma repeats and reinvents itself in a rural Black community in Edgecombe County, North Carolina. After graduating from Ithaca College in 2015 with a degree in Documentary Studies and Production, Crystal spent two years at the ACLU working on racial justice and criminal justice issues. She received a Heartland Emmy Award in 2012 for her film All That Remains, which profiles Boley, Oklahoma, one of the nation's last all-Black towns.

Melissa is an award-winning documentary filmmaker originally from the Caribbean island of Antigua. Throughout her career in NYC, Melissa has worked with award-winning documentary filmmakers including Ralf Schmerberg at Radical Media, Academy Award nominated directors Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady at Loki Films, and Academy Award winning director Alex Gibney at Jigsaw Productions.
