My name is Lumumba David. I have been creating digital video and photo content for nearly ten years. Alongside being a documentary photographer and filmmaker, Maen, professionally, is a human rights researcher and campaigner at Amnesty International. Maen considers himself a dedicated creative, always encouraged to learn and explore in the imaginative realms. He has been documenting the Palestinian skateboard scene for the last six years and engages in reciprocal nourishment with this community. Maen has experience as an awarded documentary filmmaker, having made Kickflips Over Occupation. A freelance self shooting producer / director with an extremely strong journalistic background. Most recently have been working on long form television documentary (CNN, PBS, the UK's Channel 4), but also have shorter form digital experience, having worked at Economist Films, The Economist's documentary film arm, on a permanent basis for a year and a half before moving to New York 18 months ago. Mauricio Gonzalez-Aranda is a documentary filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY.
