I was raised in Corona and Jackson Heights, where I migrated to 19 years ago. I've received a BA in Arts with magna cum laude from Hunter College for majoring in Film Studies, Interdisciplinary Honors, and Psychology. Now I work in a restaurant to make ends meet and devote the rest of my time to poetry, experimenting on film/video, walking and being in community locally. I am a volunteer member/educator and part of the community council at Centro Corona (formerly known as IMI Corona), where I held an artist residency as a filmmaker in 2016.
