Kayla Tong (b. 1993) is a cinematographer and director. She was born in colonial Hong Kong, molded by Los Angeles, and briefly called Missouri and Lisbon home in between. After graduating from USC School of Cinematic Arts in 2015, her narrative and documentary work have screened in a number of venues such as The New Yorker Documentary Series, Busan International Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, LA Asian Pacific Film Festival, and LA Shorts Fest. Kayla is a Busan’s Asian Film Academy's cinematography fellow, a Visual Communications’s Armed with a Camera Fellowship directing fellow. For 12 years he has been instrumental in developing a library of films to train the next generation of electric and gas workers. Shawn Baldwin is a documentary filmmaker, photographer and multimedia journalist based in Berkeley, California. His work is published in The New York Times, Stern, Newsweek, Time Magazine, Vanity Fair, Bloomberg Businessweek and The New York Times Magazine. Shawn lived in the Middle East for more than a decade covering war in Iraq, revolutions in Egypt and Libya, and the growing influence of hardline Islam across the Arab world. He has worked throughout the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe on stories. He is the recipient of the 2016 Dorothea Lange Fellowship and has won several awards including Magazine Portrait & Personality in the Best of Photojournalism competition for his work in Afghanistan. Oluwaseun Babalola is a Sierra Leonean/Nigerian-American director, shooter, and producer. I currently work in television as a production coordinator, in the documentary department. I've been working in the world of journalism, editing, animation and documentary both in print and film for the past three years after finishing my masters in documentary journalism at NYU J-School.
