Michel Raschkovsky Stolnicki is a director, producer, writer and cinematographer based in New York City. His debut feature film as a writer-producer, "American Thief", is now playing at select theaters in North America. Stolnicki executed one of Netflix's first original productions from France, "Solidarité (We Are One)", and was part of multiple major Hollywood productions including upcoming American horror thriller "Things Heard and Seen". While capping his masters at Columbia University, as a co-producer, Stolnicki won the Jury Award at Urbanworld and the DGA Student Latino Award with "Standing8". Caio Guatelli is an independent photojournalist based in New York, USA Born in São Paulo (Brazil) in 1977, he began his career in 1996, and worked for major Brazilian and international media outlets, such as Folha de S. Paulo (Brazil) and Agence France Presse. In 2008 Caio covered the Beijing's Olympic Games. Between the years 2010 and 2011, he covered Haiti's earthquake, that killed more than 200 thousand people, and the dramatic recovering process. I am a New Orleans native-based photographer; but I also work out of Houston, New York, and DC. I am obsessed with portraits. It is all about the process of creating the portrait, and the story behind the portrait. The process of creating the portrait is a mark of true craftsmanship. I try to capture portraits that are honest. I often use black and white photographs to achieve that. I believe black and white photographs allow me to see; to truly see. When color is absent it is all about the architecture of the photograph; the light, the emotion, the tonality, the lines, and the shapes. It allows me to see deeper.
