Raised in southern New Jersey outside Philadelphia, and now residing in Baltimore Maryland, Andrew Corkery worked as a Visual Producer / Editor/ Researcher for the Real News Network. That Story, "Islam in the Riverwards: PART 1 AND 2," along with "Being Black in Bridesburg", a story highlighting the impacts and legacy of racial injustice in a largely white community within Philadelphia, were both published in Spirit News and later featured in write ups from The Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Magazine. With Andrew's career expanding experience of living and working abroad in mind, he recognizes the importance of staying connected to the world. Born and raised in Venezuela where he began his career as a visual journalist, documenting mainly social issues and violent protests. He has successfully directed, shot and produced over 50 short pieces about the Venezuelan crisis amassing millions of views. Since then he has furthered his studies in documentary filmmaking in New York City. First exposed to photography in the early 1980’s, I have always enjoyed capturing images of places I have been and places I want to remember and tell others about. It seems that the camera was always with me no matter where I went. On trips around the state or around the country, photographs documented my travels and memories. The pinnacle of my personal photography was between 2001 and 2005 where I had the unique opportunity to work and live in Antarctica. The amazing scenery and experiences there could only be told to others through photography. With the availability of email and internet I was able to share my adventure through digital images. In 2012 I was awarded a First Place award in News Photography from the New Jersey Press Association and a Second Place award in News Photography from the Pennsylvania Press Association. Journalism is a second career for me. I got my start in public safety and did that for 20 years before jumping over to journalism. I specialize in covering breaking and spot news especially in situations where there is heavy law enforcement presence and or interaction with firefighters or paramedics, which nowadays is just about every large event and or disaster. Speaking the “language” of public safety, understand what is happening I can read the environment and anticipate the pending actions. Having this edge helps me better cover the news and ultimately stay safe. My work has been published in local news papers like the Express-Times and national publications including the New York Times and the USA Today. Edgardo Antonio Jr. is a filmmaker, photographer and editor. He is currently based in Brooklyn, NY, and working as an Assistant Editor at Jigsaw Productions. With over 4 years of journalism and documentary filmmaking experience, Edgardo has worked as a staff reporter for Richmond Pulse, post-productuction coordinator and operations manager at Loteria Films, and many video production internships, and odd jobs. His film work includes Dignidad En Accion, a short documentary on domestic worker rights in the Bay Area, DACA: 2 Years After, a video series depicting the aftermath of DACA for two youth in Richmond, and Cristian, 19, a profile piece of a young man’s experience with juvenile detention, court school and reentry. Audrey Black is a NYC filmmaker with an eye for creating unique video content and Creative Director of Cinealpha Video. Audrey has had her work featured on leading television networks such as NBC, Televisa, Unicable and PBS. She has also worked with film industry veteran, producer and studio executive Sean Daniel. Audrey's versatile experience in video production lends to her ability to create film content that is highly viral. In 2011, she worked as Second Camera and Assistant Editor for the YouTube channel Tiffany Rothe Workouts, featuring fitness celebrity Tiffany Rothe. Pete Chatmon is the guy you want behind the lens. His debut feature, “Premium”, starred Dorian Missick, Zoe Saldana, and Hill Harper and premiered on Showtime. Chatmon also wrote, produced, and directed “761st”, a documentary on the first black tank battalion in WWII, narrated by Andre Braugher. Chatmon received the 2008 Tribeca Film Institute “All Access” Program’s Creative Promise Narrative Award for the screenplay “$FREE.99”, written in collaboration with Candice Sanchez McFarlane. As of late he has supervised the post workflow of Louie CK’s second season on FX and edited an MTV True Life Update.
