I'm a filmmaker who has worked on numerous corporate, reality TV, youtube channels, documentary and even a few indie feature films, I am a music composer and on occasion, performer. I'm most interested in the subjects of travel, adventure, music and the arts, as well as cultural anthropology, philosophy and indigenous mythology. Gabriella Nova (f.k.a. Parsons) is a Midwest-born-and-raised 90s kid, visual storyteller and freelance documentary filmmaker based in Austin, Texas. She is currently a seasonal producer for SXSW Film Festival. Gabriella’s work centers on community empowerment, social justice, identity and belonging. I have several years’ experience shooting and editing high quality videos and photos for companies such as Cadillac, and Silicone Labs. I have shot testimonials and interviews where I have been responsible for camera operation, lighting, sound, editing, and giving interviews.
