March 22, 2021 Stephen James Hyde is a cinematographer and an Emmy Award® nominated producer (2018). His work has screened theatrically and appeared on TV networks such as Discovery, Comedy Central, CNN, Aljazeera, and PBS, as well as online magazines including Indian Country Today, Washington Post, Mind Body Green, Seattle Times, GQ, California Magazine, The Nation and elsewhere. Recently he is the Director of Photography on a film commissioned by the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian directed by Tracy Rector (2021). Steve also filmed the Seattle episode of a new doc series with Academy Award® nominated director James Longley (2021) and is DP on a series of branded content spots for Mackie Audio Products, produced by Lucid Visual Media (2020).
