He won an award in 1st place for "Where Your Taxes Goes" photography contest in 2021. King Catoy is an independent documentary filmmaker and alternative media practitioner in the Philippines. In 2009, he became Executive Director of Mayday Multimedia, a video collective focusing on workers issues, and in 2012, became Multimedia Director of the non-profit media group PinoyMedia Center Inc. He sits on the Board of Directors of AlterMidya- People’s Alternative Media Center, a national network of independent and grassroots-based media outfits in the Philippines. He has also worked on several video advocacy projects with Pesticide Action Network Asia and the Pacific. He has directed many videos and trained marginalised communities and alternative media practitioners on video production.

Christine Chung is a Korean Filipino freelance photographer based in the Philippines. She is interested in exploring internal life through imagery. In 2012 and 2014, she was awarded a scholarship grant and was mentored by Kevin WY Lee in the Invisible Photographer Asia Online Mentorship Program. Here she produced 'A Portrait of Us.' In 2015, she was mentored by documentary photographer Alex Baluyut in the Masterclass in Documentary Photography Edition 10. In the same year, she attended the Angkor Photo Festival Workshop where she was mentored by Magnum members-photographers Sohrab Hura and Antoine d'Agata. She graduated in 2016 with a degree in Humanities with concentrations in English Literature and Art Management from Ateneo de Manila University.

I am a photographer associated with the online Mindanao-based news agency MindaNews. I am currently a communications assistant for the Untied Nations International Labour Organization in Manila. I have managed a World Press Photo-funded network of multimedia journalists (Panglantaw Mindanao, under the auspices of the Konrad Adenauer Center for Journalism) who were tasked to produce multimedia stories about Mindanao. During my tenure I also contributed my own multimedia stories. I am studying for a masters degree in anthropology and am currently conducting field research for a thesis on indigenous peoples' lived concepts of space and place as they interact with state policy.
