I am an photographer, filmmaker and new media professional, and have worked as a producer, cameraman, and editor for many online documentary and storytelling collectives. As a documentary filmmaker, I collaborate with other storytellers from all across the world, working together to produce both original feature films and web documentaries. As a photographer, I specialize in portraits and advertising shoots. Since 1998, I have been hired by such clients as Atlantic Records, Animal Planet, Discovery Communications, Harley-Davidson, SC Johnson, Al Jazeera (London), and the National Gallery of Art (Washington DC). I recently worked at the University of Wisconsin - Madison's Wisconsin Center for Education Research conducting research in education and developing new forms of documentary-style field data acquisition. Currently, I am finishing my feature-length documentary film, Swim Jim Swim. I am a recipient of a Wisconsin Arts Board filmmaker fellowship and a Mary L. Nohl Artist Fund fellowship. My most recent book and exhibit, Motorcycles of Kerala, is a series of pinhole photographs taken during a trip to southern India.

Renny McCauley is a freelance editor. His work has been seen on PBS, IFC, MTV Hive, LogoTV, Pitchfork and Spin.com. He edited the feature documentary Peace Officer, which aired on Independent Lens in Spring 2016 and won the Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award for Best Documentary at SXSW Film Festival. Other films include Stumped (2017, Winner, Global Health Competition, Cleveland International Film Festival), The Insufferable Groo (2018) featuring Jack Black and The Lonely Master (2019) profiling college basketball legend Jimmer Fredette. I'm a freelance photographer, videographer, designer, and editor located in Iowa, USA. I'm also working on my M.A. in photojournalism at the School of Visual Communication. Previously, I was the Photographer, Videographer, Editor and Designer at Ohio University's Russ College of Engineering. As a DAAD internXchange fellow, I interned at the Potsdamer Neueste Nachrichten, a Tagesspiegel paper covering Brandenburg, Germany's capital city. For several years before that I worked in Berlin, where I first traveled on a Fulbright Fellowship. I received my B.A. in German and Literature, Science and the Arts from the University of Iowa. My research interests are focused on immigration, justice, history and public policy. My work has appeared in publications such as Archaeology, The Athens News, The Cedar Rapids Gazette, The Daily Mail, The Houston Chronicle, Ohio Today, PBS NewsHour Online, Smithsonian Online, The Texas Tribune. It has been recognized by Photo Philanthropy, as well as the NPPA.

Rachel Lauren Mueller is a documentary director, journalist and cinematographer from the Colorado mountains whose stories focus on themes of power, identity and rural life. With her background in investigative journalism and anthropology, she creates films that interrogate power structures while embracing expansive imagination. Rachel’s work has been featured in Al Jazeera Arabic, The New York Times, PBS, Yale Climate Connections and Berkeleyside and her films have been supported by the International Documentary Association, Berkeley FILM Foundation, the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Metropolitan Regional Council for the Arts. Most recently, her film 8 DAYS AT WARE, supported by the IF/Then Shorts Distribution fellowship, was awarded the Reva and David Logan Prize for Investigative Reporting and Best Short Documentary at the Wyoming International Film Festival. She has been a film fellow at UnionDocs, GroundTruth Films and the Overseas Press Club and has a master’s in documentary from the UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism.

Georgia Fort is a two time Emmy nominated Media Producer and Television Correspondent. Her reporting has been published on CNN, ABC, NBC, Fox and CBS affiliates. Her mission as a storyteller is to amplify truth, inspire, inform and agitate change. Most recently she produced a short documentary “George Floyd: It Happened Here”, which amplifies the voices of individuals who are from the neighborhood where George Floyd was killed. Prior to that Fort, co-directed and edited the award winning documentary “Rondo: Beyond the Pavement” which is no available on Amazon Prime. Outside of media, she’s in the process of changing maternity leave laws in Minnesota after losing her job as an anchor because she wasn’t eligible for FMLA. A true advocate for change, the Minnesota native has over a decade of broadcast experience that spans from public radio government television to national commercial television broadcasting. As a journalist she publicly explored her passion for philanthropy and community involvement by a giving a visual platform to the stories and individuals that continuously shape her community. Her coverage of a controversial officer involved shooting was nominated for an Emmy and received honorable mention by the Southeast Chapter of the National Academy of Television. Before her promotion as an anchor, Georgia was the court and crime reporter for the ABC and Fox affiliates in Columbus, GA where she covered gruesome murder trials and uncovered a series of investigative pieces. Georgia graduated from the University of St. Thomas where she advocated for student parents and diversity inclusion. She has three daughters and is married to boxing gym owner and professional boxer, Cerresso Fort. In 2007, after her oldest daughter passed away, she became an Ambassador for Faith’s Lodge, a non-profit that provides wellness retreats for parents who have lost a child. Internally, her resilience is the catalyst that allows her to continuously reshape her own narrative as she outwardly advocates to change the narrative for the black community.
