I was born in Inverness, Scotland and began working as a documentary and television producer following several years working for international news outlets across the US, UK, India and South Africa. My work in documentary includes co-producing a BAFTA-shortlisted prime-time documentary for Channel 4 in the UK, and as an AP and development producer for productions on the BBC and Discovery. I am a Spanish journalist living in Chile. I have worked as a video journalist since 2007. I have produced and written news for the national public TV in Spain (TVE), as well as produced entertainment and news segments for several local and regional channels. I have worked for an audiovisual production company on documentaries such as the award-winning 'Andaluzas: Presas al otro lado de la reja'. For the last two years I handled the audiovisual operations of the communication department at the most important workers union in my region, hunting down, producing, shooting, writing, editing, and post-producing stories for their online TV. My favourite topics include human or labor rights, gender equality and environmental issues. For instance, the story of a woman who worked her way out of poverty and now helps the community she came from. I like human stories of solidarity and personal growth, regarding image as a very important requirement. I believe that striking, impressive, colourful, surprising footage always works better for a video story. Now I'm interested in the indigenous conflict and its ramifications in Chile.

Born in 77 in Chile, I created and directed during 10 years the ELCINEVINO project, a successful traveling cinema that, all along Chile, screened national features and animated creative workshops aimed to those who could not access theaters for social, economical or cultural reasons. More than 1.000 screenings were made and more than 100 short films were produced during those workshops. Since 2009, I'm working on developing my own career as director and have written and directed various documentaries together with my first short fiction CITÉ (ALLEY) shot in 2010 and produced in Chile, that was selected in many festivals around the world. During my residency in France in 2011, I directed the short film in France (THE SUITCASE) as well as one short film in Canada in 2012 (HOURS GET LOST IN VAIN). In 2013, in TAIPEI FACTORYs frame, I co-wrote and co-directed with Shen Ko-Shang (A NICE TRAVEL) a fiction short film, shot in Taiwan, and premiered in opening of the Directors Fortnight at Cannes Film Festival in 2013. Last 4 months I worked in a TV author documentaries series. I'm interested in social reality, thru strong characters, as they talk about nowadays subjects.
