Bumsue is an award winning and bilingual filmmaker (English, Korean). He was born in Seoul, and educated in the heart of Sonoran desert, Tucson, AZ. He got his MFA degree from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in Filmmaking. He won several awards with his short film "The Evictor" including Wasserman Award from NYU's First Run Film Festival, and was also invited to Aspen Shortsfest 2016 for its world premiere. He has worked on various freelance video projects with clients such as Volvo Constructions, and Korea Student Aid Foundation.
