Armed with little more than a camera and backpack, I have traveled the world documenting stories from the margins, inspired by legions of women, workers, activists and young people dedicating their lives and loves to social change. From Aids orphans in Kenya, green truck drivers in Long Beach, grandmother abalone divers in Japan and maids in Las Vegas, I'm constantly inspired by stories that not only move us, but move us to action. My films have won awards in film festivals and my work been broadcast on PBS, Al Jazeera, BBC and CBC, but I am most proud of the work I am now doing with GlobalGirl Media, www.globalgirlmedia.org, a non-profit which empowers young women from under-served communities in digital journalism. Hey there, I'm Ray. My hope is to be able to film more in the documentary realm, especially in areas that require experience in remote locations. I have experience being out in the middle of nowhere for months on end - hiking the entire Pacific Crest Trail and carrying a camera (most of the way). I hope to do more long distance treks in the future - some that are planned ambitious than others :) It's quite addicting - seeing the best in humanity and seeing life at 3 mph. Another fun fact, I was a licensed pilot and still enjoy all things aviation. I have worked mainly as a 2nd and 1st AC on commercial work, branded content, and short films. David Gordon is an LA-based cinematographer specializing in scripted narrative feature films and new media content, including shorts, music videos, and episodic narrative projects. Although he has a particular soft spot for horror cinema, his work spans all genres: from historical period dramas to fantasy Westerns. An avid GUE/PADI-certified scuba diver, David relishes every opportunity to jump in the water and shoot, allowing him to pull double duty as both the cinematographer and underwater operator for Below, an action / horror film about a shark attack, in addition to shooting many other underwater scenes for independent features. In his spare time, you can find David exploring abandoned buildings, scuba diving, rock climbing, practicing kickboxing, or hosting nocturnal picnics at graveyards.

For more then ten years I’ve been fortunate to make my living telling stories. Over the past decade I’ve developed a set of skills that has allowed me to feel equally at home on larger crew series as well as one man band scenarios. I’ve been grateful to work on multiple documentaries shows for networks such as Nat Geo TV, Discovery, History, and Travel Channel. As well as corporate clients such as Microsoft, 5.10, and Adidas. Having come from a background as a documentary photographer along the way I’ve grow my skills to include camera operator, photographer, time lapse artist, FAA drone pilot, as well as occasionally writing for some of the journalistic projects I’ve been hired for. John Javellana (b. 1984, Philippines) is a photojournalist based in Los Angeles, CA. His professional career started in 2008 as he was completing his degree as a Communication Arts major at the De La Salle University when he was hired as a stringer for the Reuters News Agency. After completing his degree, he became one of the youngest photojournalists to work for the wire agencies in the country and has covered most of the major news event up to this day. Primarily a news photographer who specializes in spot/breaking news, John is also a documentary cinematographer and has worked on documentaries for outfits shows and NGOs such as “58” for US Aid and Asia Foundation; “Philippines : Abuses Go Unpunished” for Human Rights Watch; short documentaries and pieces for Storyline and Rappler.com, where he worked as the photo editor in 2013.
