Paula, a native of São Paulo and founder of Sam Ka Pur Filmes, holds a bachelor's degree in Audiovisual from ECA-USP and a Master's in Fine Arts from the Korea National University of Arts. She was the only Brazilian representative to date in the L'Atelier program at the Cannes Film Festival. Her first feature-length fiction film, Butterfly Diaries (2022), introduced the subject of anorexia nervosa to national cinematography.
