Siyan Huang is a video journalist and documentarian. She received her Masters' degree in journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. As part of the program, she worked as a journalist for Medill News Service, and have reported on health, gender, animals and social justice issues in the U.S. She also travelled to South Africa and Puerto Rico to report on local issues, such as the stories of Chinese immigrants in South Africa and lives of drug addicts in Puerto Rico. She created and produced a 16-minute documentary with her documentary partner Taylor Goebel as the final project for the documentary class. This documentary is among a few films that were pre-selected to screen at the American Documentary Film Festival in April, 2018. After graduation, she was granted a Fall Internship position at Kartemquin Films, the Chicago documentary powerhouse. During her time there she worked as the Production Assistant for the film Dilemma of Desire and Left Handed Pianist, which further solidified her field shooting expertise. In 2019, she joined the CNBC American Greed production team as a production assistant to work on American Greed season 13. She's currently a freelance videographer/video editor based in Chicago.

I'm a freelance photographer, videographer, designer, and editor located in Iowa, USA. I'm also working on my M.A. in photojournalism at the School of Visual Communication. Previously, I was the Photographer, Videographer, Editor and Designer at Ohio University's Russ College of Engineering. As a DAAD internXchange fellow, I interned at the Potsdamer Neueste Nachrichten, a Tagesspiegel paper covering Brandenburg, Germany's capital city. For several years before that I worked in Berlin, where I first traveled on a Fulbright Fellowship. I received my B.A. in German and Literature, Science and the Arts from the University of Iowa. My research interests are focused on immigration, justice, history and public policy. My work has appeared in publications such as Archaeology, The Athens News, The Cedar Rapids Gazette, The Daily Mail, The Houston Chronicle, Ohio Today, PBS NewsHour Online, Smithsonian Online, The Texas Tribune. It has been recognized by Photo Philanthropy, as well as the NPPA.

Hi there. I’m a filmmaker specializing in documentary film of all sizes. My work has appeared on PBS, Time Magazine, CNN, NPR, G4, Billboard Magazine and the Huffington Post. I frequently work with the internationally acclaimed Kartemquin Films (Hoop Dreams, The Interrupters), where I've just finished producing the award-winning documentary feature, "Raising Bertie." Other items of interest: Though I don’t look it, I'm mixed race. My father is Caucasian and my mother is Jamaican/Cuban. While I certainly didn’t get a lot of my mother’s pigmentation, I carry a deep and unique understanding of race and culture. It has helped make me into a compassionate, empathetic filmmaker. Diversity has also carried into my career. Wearing different hats has helped me develop a temperament well suited for travel and the unexpected. I spent over two years living, studying, working and volunteering abroad. I’ve been shipwrecked, lost in the jungle, tear-gassed and nearly stabbed by a 13 year old. I’ve also surfed Brazil, camped in the rainforest, splashed about in a volcano and made friends with a 13 year old. You win some you lose some.

Certain elements of the events that take place in the movie are fictional. The movie represents factual events that are particular to the Chicago area.The cast and crew of the movie come from diverse backgrounds which as the director I take pride in. My goal was to show viewers that we all have something to contribute art, I believe "vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others

Hello my name is Brian, and I am a video and marketing professional. While honing and fostering my video productions skills, I also earned a BSBA in Marketing from Xavier University. I love incorporating the ideas and insights I gain from my marketing and psychology background into my video work, and I love to examine the motivations behind the feelings that stories give us. I am a strong leader with experience leading groups, clubs, and I am an Eagle Scout. I am young in experience, but I can guarantee you I have the talent to make any project come to life. I pride myself in knowing that others admire my attention to detail in my shooting and editing, and I know that it is only a matter of time before my video resume will be extensive. Before becoming a freelancer I have worked in corporate video as an internal video production manager. Along with working with video companies and other videographers, I have also taken on solo projects with brands and businesses. With these projects I help businesses hone their marketing strategy first and then handle all aspects of production, while maintaining that strategy throughout. Some of my freelancing gigs have taken me around the country to places like San Diego and Las Vegas to shoot recap videos for Tony Robbins events. Patrick Offenheiser is a filmmaker, editor and multimedia artist. Originally from Boston by way of Dhaka, Bangladesh and Lima, Peru, he graduated with a BA in Film & Electronic Arts and History from Bard College and went on to produce documentary work for non-profit organizations and television, focusing on marginalized and displaced communities, particularly in Latin America and the United States. While a Fellow at UnionDocs he worked as DP/Co-Director on Moved Every Way, a documentary featuring a volunteer-run LGBTQ church held together by the devotion of its members, exploring how individuals struggle to uphold church as a sanctuary from the harsh realities of the outside world and also as Editor on "Alphabet on Air a documentary featuring a performance art installation that takes place at a closet-sized gallery in Alphabet City, New York, that represents local, homeless and street artists. In his personal practice and work he pursues questions of memory, homeland and diaspora as well as cultural erasure and globalization. He is currently based in Brooklyn, New York.
