As a multimedia story producer, I have worked on numerous projects including "War Ink," an interactive website on Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and their tattoos, "This is Watts," featuring the stories of people who lived in Los Angeles during the Watts Riots, and "Stonewall Forever," a documentary and living monument in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. I have also worked as a story producer and editor for Riot Games, where I researched and scripted videos for their platforms. In 2020, I won an Emmy for Outstanding Short Form Comedy or Drama Series as the editor for AMC’s “Legal Ethics With Kim Wexler," a companion web series for AMC's "Better Call Saul." As a TV editor I have worked on shows for Nickelodeon, HBO, and PBS. I recently edited behind-the-scenes documentaries for Disney, Netflix, and AMC as well as video retrospectives for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. I got my start as a documentary film editor working alongside renowned documentary filmmaker Albert Maysles of the Maysles Brothers ("Grey Gardens," "Gimme Shelter," "The Gates") and have since worked as an editor on several short and feature-length films. I am the editor of "Soledad," a feature-length documentary following three inmates after their release from one of California's most violent and overcrowded prisons, and recently co-edited "Voices Beyond The Wall," following a group of orphaned teenage girls living in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, murder capital of the world, as they learn to write poetry about their lives. I was the editor on Roku TV's Lesbian Bar Project, a docuseries following three lesbian bars across the country hosted by Lea Delaria. My work for the New York Times was nominated for a News & Documentary Emmy. My work on the docuseries Lesbian Bar Project was nominated for a GLAAD award. My work editing promos for the TV show Better Call Saul won an Emmy Award. In addition to making films, I record and conducts oral history interviews across the country for StoryCorps, a National Public Radio and Peabody Award-winning project dedicated to preserving the stories of everyday Americans at the Library of Congress. Mary Catherine began her production career by traveling to Hungary to document the plight of the Roma, and produced, filmed and edited "Through Roma Eyes," for Storyful. She went on to work on documentary programs for CNN, PBS, CBS, HBO, Lifetime, and IFC, and many others. She produced a live-animation economics series, "Punk Economics with David McWilliams," and an immersive travel series "Kenny Wild" for Sky 191. Mary Catherine and Cornelia released their first independent film "A Mighty Man: The Father Gerry Roche Story" about an Irish missionary who was murdered in Kenya, in 2012. Most recently, Mary Catherine was an Editor on "The C-Word," a film Directed by Meghan O'Hara (Fahrenheit 9/11) and Executive Produced by Morgan Freeman. Dynamic multimedia journalist, segment producer and TV contributor. I enjoy covering stories about underrepresented communities and highlighting social justice issues both locally and abroad. As such, I've covered the campaign to raise the age of criminal responsibility from 16 to 18 in NY, which earned an award from the National Association of Black Journalists for best radio feature on a network. First exposed to photography in the early 1980’s, I have always enjoyed capturing images of places I have been and places I want to remember and tell others about. It seems that the camera was always with me no matter where I went. On trips around the state or around the country, photographs documented my travels and memories. The pinnacle of my personal photography was between 2001 and 2005 where I had the unique opportunity to work and live in Antarctica. The amazing scenery and experiences there could only be told to others through photography. With the availability of email and internet I was able to share my adventure through digital images. In 2012 I was awarded a First Place award in News Photography from the New Jersey Press Association and a Second Place award in News Photography from the Pennsylvania Press Association. Journalism is a second career for me. I got my start in public safety and did that for 20 years before jumping over to journalism. I specialize in covering breaking and spot news especially in situations where there is heavy law enforcement presence and or interaction with firefighters or paramedics, which nowadays is just about every large event and or disaster. Speaking the “language” of public safety, understand what is happening I can read the environment and anticipate the pending actions. Having this edge helps me better cover the news and ultimately stay safe. As a television journalist, videographer and editor trained in investigative and field reporting, I have successfully produced award-winning stories for decade for multi-platform local and national news outlets. I grew up in New Jersey, where I read the news into my parents camcorder as a kid, so it's not surprising I wound up immersed in video production. Early in my career, I learned to pursue my instincts, rather than follow the pack. I've investigated rail safety in the wake of deadly crashes and revealed crossing equipment failures at one of the nation's largest transit agencies, prompting reparative action by lawmakers and the agency, as well as a nod from the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences. During my role as a correspondent for NJTV, I uncovered hundreds of deceased voters names still on the rolls and casting ballots. I've learned that successful stories come when you can pull the personal human experience out of the data and documents. Recently I forged a partnership that enables me to rebuild dilapidated housing in burgeoning areas of my home state, allowing me to further another passionate mission - entrepreneurship, economic development and beautifying neighborhoods in my home state. Boris Shirman is a first-generation American, whose family came from the former Soviet Union. Boris graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Photojournalism. Currently, he is based in Brooklyn, N.Y. working as Director of Photography and Editor recently left his position as Director of Photography and Editor at Fly on the Wall Productions. Nicole Teeny is an award-winning documentary filmmaker. Nicole started NYU film school having never seen an R rated movie and only 1.5 PG-13 films (she grew up a community that censored media). While in undergrad, for her first feature documentary, Nicole turned the camera on her own community for BIBLE QUIZ, a coming-of-age doc about the evangelical sport of Bible memory. BIBLE QUIZ won the Slamdance Grand Jury Award (and 9 other Grand Jury festival awards), played on Netflix, theatrically in seven cities at Alamo Drafthouse movie theaters, on Kanopy, on the Sundance Channel Global in 20+ countries, and was selected for the US State Department’s “American Film Showcase”. Hollywood Reporter called it "instantly lovable" and the LA Times said it was “Smart, funny, and disarming”. Nicole followed that beat and is in post-production on her second feature documentary, BULLETPROOF STOCKINGS, about the first all-female Hasidic rock band. It won the Doc-a-chusetts Pitch, LEF Moving Image grant and Cambridge art grants, and was a finalist at Fork Films and Chicken & Egg. Nicole also makes documentary shorts and series. Harrison James O'Brien is a self-proclaimed “true New Yorker.” Born and raised in the Lower Eastside of Manhattan, Harrison is a fan of bacon-egg-and-cheeses, Nas, and Yankee fitteds. Harrison first brought his camera out into the streets in 2009, opening up a world of light previously unbeknownst to him. Harrison found that the essence of a moment could last forever within a photograph captured in a single instant. I'm going on 32 years old. I have no children and am unmarried. I love traveling and have very little fear when it comes to going anywhere or being around anything. I've lived in 4 states in the last 6 months. I moved to New York to pursue acting and have made an appearance in a movie and two television shows since being here. I'm not afraid to live rough and have once spent nearly ten months camping in the elements. January-October 2019. I'm intelligent and friendly. I love to engage people in thought provoking conversations. After watching the numbers reported by the media on the Corona virus I set out to find the truth. I spent a day on the streets doing interviews and taking my own polls. It was fun but not as exciting as I would have liked it to be. I would love to get involved with reporting. Michelle Divon is an Israeli-American journalist and TV host living in NYC and working as a news anchor and reporter for News12 Networks. Michelle previously worked at i24NEWS in Jaffa, Israel where she hosted a daily documentary show called High Definition. Since moving to the city, Michelle has emceed various events, including the annual Israel Parade co-anchored with Fox5. She has emceed events for various organizations including the WJC, JNF, FIDF, UJA, Soroka Medical Center, Batsheva Women, JCRC, AICF, & Portugal Ministry of Tourism. Michelle has interviewed key figures on stage including Ambassador Ron Dermer, former Ambassador Ron Prosor, Maj Gen (res.) Amos Gilad, SpaceIL Morris Kahn and has written for Times of Israel and The Forward. Michelle holds a BA in Government, Diplomacy and Strategy from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya.
