Roxanna H.
Berry Hill, TN, USA
Inspired to make a difference in the lives of others, and to be the voice for the voiceless, Roxanna chose to pursue a career in journalism. After graduating from University of Florida, Roxanna worked her way up TV markets starting with WCTV (Tallahassee), then KCCI (Des Moines), WGHP (Winston-Salem/High Point/Greensboro), and recently WKRN (Nashville). In 2009, Roxanna won an Associated Press Award for her story about homeless people living in the woods. She then volunteered with a local homeless outreach program to help find homes for the people featured in the story. While reporting at the 2008 Iowa Caucus, she had the opportunity to interview the presidential candidates including current President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden. As a freelance entertainment reporter, she can be seen chatting with country music stars on AXS-TV. Roxanna also recently received her certification in meteorology from Mississippi State University. Roxanna enjoys traveling the country, meeting hard working citizens, and uncovering inspirational stories for 5-hour ENERGY® Helps Amazing People.
