Rignam Wangkhang is a Tibetan-Canadian multimedia journalist, photographer, writer, and radio producer. He currently assists in producing CBC’s flagship national current affairs radio show The Current, along with CBC’s first true crime podcast Someone Knows Something. Rignam’s work focuses on politics, freedom of expression, migration and refugee issues. His writing has been published in OZY, TVO, IFEX, The Torontoist and other publications. His photography has been featured in The Star, ICT, Machik, Canada Tourism Board, India Today, and exhibited in municipal galleries. Rignam previously worked as a consultant for UNHCR India and as a communications officer with Canadian Journalists for Free Expression. In addition to his work with UNHCR India and Canadian Journalists for Free Expression, Rignam works on the CBC's radio accessibility program, which makes radio and podcasts available in written format for those that are hard of hearing. Jack is passionate about experiential films that defy easy classification. His unconventional evocative work has been programmed at hundreds of international film festivals, including TIFF, SXSW, True/False, IDFA, and Sheffield. In his wildlife short film, Nuisance Bear, “the bears share space with the people who’ve come to see them, walking cautiously between parked vehicles, being watched and watching back.” — The New Yorker In 2023, Nuisance Bear was shortlisted for an Academy Award® and nominated for two Emmys® for Cinematography and Sound Design. The 13-minute film is distributed by The New Yorker and available for free online. Jack is currently in production on his debut feature. Jack was an Executive Producer for The Territory directed by Alex Pritz and produced by William Miller, Lizzie Gillet, Sigrid Dyekjaer, and Darren Aronofsky. The Territory premiered at Sundance 2022 where it won both an Audience Award and Special Jury Award.

Connor has served as the Head of Photography at Herb where he oversaw the art direction and photography operations and strategy for images published to an audience of 16 million people. Connor created, directed and produced several of Herb’s most successful videos which garnered millions of views and hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue. Connor was a Director, Cinematographer, and Editor of The Exit, a documentary on the use of cannabis as a potential solution to the opioid crisis. Connor was the co-director and Director of Photography of several short documentaries, including a short film called Game Changers, which profiled Al Harrington, who played 16 seasons in the NBA. Connor also co-directed a mini-documentary called "Of The Earth", which focused on the treatment of indigenous people on Tyendinaga Mohawk territory following the passage of Bill C-46. I have always had a deep love of cinematography, and there is nothing I love more in this world than making beautiful images. I'm a 3-time Cannes and Clio grand prix winning Director/DP/Videographer (one person band type that rides a line between filmmaker and journalist). I like marshmallow fluff and social activism (in no particular order). I tell stories of change: change in a character, change in a story, social change, and monetary change. Stories that burn and burn with the passion of love, and prairie rose during a wild fire. I follow a mix of Lars Von Trier documentary school of thought (verite) alongside the French style of Chris Marker (social commentary). I love fair intelligent documentary filmmaking that can pass as both journalism and art (i.e. Tony Kaye's Lake of Fire). I wish all the news was more like the reporting you would see in Costa Rica...long drawn out sequences without narration while allowing the audience to really listen to the people speak, instead of the media. I have learned under the likes of Mark Harris (3 time academy award winner) and Amanda Pope while studying documentary filmmaking at USC. But most importantly, I just love telling human stories, giving voice to the people...letting them tell their stories much like a This American Life episode.
