He finished university in 2008 and made his home in Rwanda and The Democratic Republic of Congo for the next five years. Covering conflicts and humanitarian crisis', he scoured the continent, eventually spreading into Asia and Latin America, notching over 70 countries and finding a comfort and truth within the world's most desolate, dangerous and beautiful places.
