Eighteen years of experience in television production has given me the opportunity to gain knowledge of many facets of the industry. Producing, shooting and editing are currently my main focuses. I count it a privilege that my job and hobby are the same! I was born in the United States but grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I moved back to the US many years ago but visit Brazil regularly and love it! I have dual citizenship so it makes it easy for travel! Over the years I have had the privilege to travel to South America, North America, Africa, Europe and Asia working on many different projects. The biggest project that I have going on right now is being a father to a very energetic, brilliant and sweet 7 year old girl!

My name is Matt Locke and I've been working in the Austin film scene for about 6 years now. I started as a PA at TBD Post while I was still in film school and worked my way up to graphics editor. Wanting to focus on production, I started taking PA gigs and getting on set. I got to work on a lot of amazing commercials and music videos. Around the same time I was head of video production on Austin Radiological Association's internet advertising campaign where I learned heaps about making high-quality videos on a tiny budget. I took what I learned started Brilliant Boy Media with some fellow freelancers from film school and spent a few years making mini-docs and music videos for Austin bands. Most recently I was an assistant editor on "My 600lb Life" at Megalomedia.

During that time I've filled the roles of producer, director, editor, and shooter on various types of projects. Todd Wiseman was the Senior Editor for Video and Multimedia at The Texas Tribune, where he worked from 2010 to 2023. Todd previously worked at the Austin School of Film and Synthetic Pictures and interned for director Richard Linklater. At The Texas Tribune, Todd helped develop the “Stump Interrupted” series, which won a national Edward R. Murrow award. He also co-produced the award-winning documentaries “Beyond The Wall,” and the Lonestar Emmy-winning "13 Hours to Midnight." A Fort Worth native, he graduated from the University of Southern California with a dual degree in film and English and is based in Austin.
