I graduated from Washburn University in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in mass media with an emphasis in contemporary journalism and a minor in history. While at Washburn, I served in various capacities for the Washburn Review, including as a writer and managing editor where I led the team to produce our weekly printed edition, ensuring deadlines were met and quality was maintained. Around the same time, I started writing for SpaceFlight Insider and eventually served as its managing editor where I helped grow the website's traffic from under 120K to roughly 300K monthly viewers. I am currently creating content about the International Space Station and Artemis Moon program for Orbital Velocity. While I started my professional journey as a writer, Orbital Velocity is pushing me to acquire all sorts of new skills, including video editing, graphic design, visual storytelling, animation, and so much more!

Keaton Nye is a director of photography based in Oklahoma City. Keaton has created work for Visit Faroe Islands, Atlantis Bahamas, Dish Network, ESPN, Facebook, and many more. In the summer of 2013, Keaton was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which caused him to step back and reevaluate what was most important to him. This experience ultimately led to him discovering his love for filmmaking and traveling, opening the door to work on national and international projects. Keaton has extensive experience with a variety of camera types and currently owns a RED Monstro 8K VV and a Sony FX-6. He has a background in live events, giving him the ability to make quick and accurate decisions. His goal is to bring high-quality video production to Oklahoma City by using the techniques he has learned from his travels and applying them to local stories. In addition to his work as a DP, Keaton runs his own video production company, where he has assembled a talented team of creative professionals. This powerful team of creatives enjoys making content that people genuinely connect with. With a deep roster of producers, scriptwriters, cinematographers, directors, and aerial pilots he’s created an environment that is able to produce national-level content while being extremely nimble and attentive to clients. Sean East is a Filmmaker primarily known for his work as a Gaffer. Since starting his career in 2012, he was drawn to the work of a handful of cinematographers that shifted his attention toward the significance of lighting and in 2015, he started down the path of focusing all his time and energy towards understanding and growing in his ability to light for the purpose of setting the intention and enhancing the mood of a story. Due to his experience gained working within Grip and Electric, he has become reputable as a gaffer for his commitment to serving with great ambition and attention to detail in order to make each frame count. Sean strives to be people-centered in his approach to each given project as a means to help establish an atmosphere that is a fun, safe and satisfying experience for everyone involved.
