Request QuoteI am a TV producer and reporter with appreciable 5 years’ experience. I have worked in local stations and also produced content for international stations. I am a researcher, field producer, logistics planner and script writer. I started my TV career at eNews Channel Africa, Nairobi bureau. eNews Channel Africa is an international media house that broadcasts out of South Africa across the continent and into the United Kingdom. While at the company, I produced news stories for broadcast, coordinated with the editor to initiate new ideas for the videos and shots for the news story and edited the stories. In 2013, I joined Africa 24 media, a TV production house that has been producing the longest TV news magazine show in Africa, “Africa Journal”, as a TV producer and reporter. I have travelled to the East and West of Africa, in quest for African stories and produced feature stories on Politics, Business, Health, human interest features, Science and Technology, Travel, Music and Arts&Culture. These stories are currently being aired on KTN news under the programs, “AFRICA MEANS BUSINESS” and a travel show “ON THE ROAD” Examples of events I have covered include the 2013 presidential elections, the Westgate attack in Nairobi, the 2015 global entrepreneurship summit and US President Obama's Visit in Nairobi, the 2015 Papal visit in Nairobi, the 2015 wildebeest migration in Maasai Mara and Kenya’s 2016 historic ivory burn. I am currently a freelance journalist producing human interest feature stories and documentaries.

Eric Muthomi decided to start up a company that would buy raw bananas from local farmers at guaranteed prices, process them into banana flour and package them for sale in the market. This is the idea that formed his company, Stawi Foods.
African leaders convened at the inaugural giant’s club summit to address ways to protect their elephants and rhinos from poachers and loss of habitat. To signal its commitment Kenya has burnt 105 tons of ivory and 1.35 tons of rhino horn. Their message: tusks have value when they are on live animals that draw tourists to Africa’s savannas and forests.
