Charlie V Rose is a BAFTA nominated director and DOP based in Kenya. He started his career in Edinburgh as a cinematographer in 2014, shooting Scottish short film ‘Grout Pray’, and shot a tv pilot starring Liam Neeson called ‘Life in Black’. Charlie then turned his focus to directing and writing when he moved to London, where he was hired as in-house Director at Stink’s newly formed content division. Charlie used his experience and love of the Highlands to create films for Johnnie Walker and Mercedes, shot on location in some of the most stunning areas of Scotland. After the stint at Stink Studios, Charlie cycled 8000km up Africa, through 9 countries, exploring the lives and experiences of African Rangers and Poachers on the front-line of the war on poaching and raising £50,000 for Ranger welfare in the process. Since returning he started the London wing of LA formed content studio ‘Stadium’, www.stvdium.com, and then left to become a Director for Edinburgh based Campfire Agency. He has recently created an exhibition in New York about the impact of Covid in Kenya, a short film starring Dave Johns of 'I Daniel Blake'. Since moving to Kenya he has directed commercials for Safaricom, ABSA and Adidas, as well as documentary projects for Red Bull and Voice of America.

As well as having an MA in Global Media by SOAS, and starting my audiovisual work in television in the 90s at Canal +, I have been filmmaking and photographing independently for most of the last 2 decades. I take pride in my work and make sure I deliver the editorial you are looking for through effective communication and hard work. Both in content and look. I enjoy making documentaries that incorporate creativity in filming and editing when appropriate, crossing audiovisual genre lines and adding extra layers of meaning to the underlying message of each film. I have all my own kit so I am able to complete a project alone from beginning to end. For larger projects, or when it is necessary, I rely on local crew I have worked with in the past, to do specific sound, graphics, or camera work when required. Nyasha Kadandara is a Zimbabwean-born, award-winning journalist and documentary filmmaker based in East Africa. In a previous life, Nyasha crunched numbers as a financial consultant, but now she spends her days producing creative works in various parts of Africa. Nyasha's work has covered a broad spectrum of subjects including breaking news, criminal justice, education, conflict and sport. I am a visual storyteller, having studied journalism at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, with specific focus on Film Production. The ability to bring visual stories to life excites me a lot, this passion leading me to working with leading media houses in Kenya, this includes a stint with the national broadcaster KBC and K24 TV, as a camera operator and video editor. MWANIKI NJACHE- SHORT BIO Nick Njache is a Kenyan Director, Screenwriter, Actor and Producer in a career spanning almost two decades, he has had the great opportunity to work in both international and local productions including working as an assistant director (Kenya) for the award-winning international production “The Constant Gardner”, “Africa Mon Amour” and “Die Patriachen” for German televions. His Kenyan directorial full feature film debut “By Any Means Necessary” won Best Actress in The Kenya International Film Festival. His short film “Victim?” was nominated for best short film in the Kalasha Film Festival 2009. I am a freelance professional Photographer for 2 decades and I also collect B roll on shoots. For the past 14 years, I have been living a full life on the road, nomadically traveling from commission to commission. Khadija Farah is a travel and documentary photographer from Nairobi, Kenya.
