About

My name is Achola Rosario and I have been an artist all my life and a producer for 20 years. I have worked in every field in the media industry in Uganda and now Kenya, and grew to a modest position before losing it all after the 2016 Ugandan elections. I have since started my own production house where I produce a travel show about Africa. I also speak fluent French. I have just updated my Hostile Environment Training by ILETA (International Law Enforcement Training Association) in November 2021 and have a diploma in therapeutic counselling from Kenya Association of Practicing Counsellors (KAPC). I feel that this gives me an edge when leading teams and interviews in hostile environments and with difficult subjects. I have a fully accredited Kenyan foreign press card and a Kenyan National ID. I also have a great sense of humour and teamwork- most of the people I have worked with during my 20-year career are still good friends of mine. I am also known to not publish information that is incorrect or misleading. I have taken to court clients in Europe who have used my name for documentaries that have been deliberately distorted for sensationalist purposes. I am passionate about the stories I cover and each one brings a different experience for me that enriches my life tapestry and contact lists. I have made a wide circle of friends and acquaintances across the globe and feel that as an artist and trained public relations and communications expert, I am in a position to package the news and information I gather in a unique, in-depth and digestible manner that lends dignity to the subjects covered. I have specialised in research, filming, editing, publishing and promoting each episode myself. I am currently on episode 85.
