About

Gökhan Batu completed his undergraduate education in Business Administration at Gazi University, followed by a master's degree in Israeli Studies at the University of Haifa. He is fluent in English, proficient in Arabic, and has an intermediate level of Hebrew. Since November 2018, Batu has been affiliated with ORSAM, where he conducted research within the Security Studies Directorate from 2019 to 2024. In August 2024, he assumed the role of Expert in the Levant Studies Coordination Unit. His research interests include deterrence, proxy warfare, Israeli national security, and politics.
